The Loving Cup — Restaurant in Reno

While visiting Reno on a hot day in August, I was looking for a cold drink, I happened to find The Loving Cup Bar. Wow! The key to the success of any business are it's employees! This is a happening place! As busy as they were on a Friday night, I was amazed how the bartender Jess was able to keep up with serving the crowd! Her upbeat personality and her smile were very contagious! I was probably her oldest patron this night. She made me feel welcome and included. Just as she did, everyone at the bar! I saw nothing but smiles, and folks of all ages who were having a good time! Jess is one of those people whose personality grabs your attention, lifts your spirit, and makes you happy to be there! She is an asset to The Loving Cups' bottom line! As a business owner myself, I would attempt to steal her away if my business was local! She would be an asset to any business! I wonder if she would be willing to relocate, I thought. I didn't ask because she obviously is loyal to her employer and enjoys her work and hernpatrons. Brian, don't lose Jess! If you want the bartender to ignore you for 15 mins as she serves other people who come to the bar this is the spot for you. TLC consistently has some of the worst bartenders Ive ever seen. The whale of a bartender got upset with me because I told her I had been waiting for 15 mins to close my tab meanwhile she served every person who came up to the bar. She preceded to play victim and act like she's not terrible at her job and threw my credit card back at me. Not handed. Threw it and told me to get out. I'd be nice if the owners cared but I doubt they do for a place that had a shooting a few years ago and had the nerve to...

This IS the best night life place in Reno. Amazing bar, the best people and phenomenal music. We went Thursday and they had live jazz music. It was great! The people working there and the owner who was actually serving and having fun with us and other guests was like just what you want, that welcoming place where everyone knows your name.
