The Wolf Den Bar & Grill – Reno, NV What a gem! Nestled just a stone’s throw from J Resort, and the Downtown Riverwalk! The Wolf Den Bar & Grill instantly feels like the place to be. This stylish spot is a perfect combination of modern design and laid‑back charm, with a roomy indoor area with games like shuffle board, and a breezy outdoor patio that sets the tone for great nights—whether you're here to catch a game, have a drink, or just unwind under the evening sky. Now, let’s talk food and my favorite, burgers. These bad boys are the true stars of the menu: juicy patties topped with melted cheese, fresh toppings, and nestled in a soft, toasted bun. Crispy fries on the side round out a meal that’s hard to beat. Compliments to the chef! They also serve up some mouthwatering wings and other shareable apps like fried pickles and Brussel sports that are ideal for pre‑dinner snacking or pairing with happy hour drinks while you play giant connect 10 or watch a game. The bar side is equally impressive. A well‑stocked lineup of local beers and handcrafted cocktails makes it easy to find the perfect drink—whether you're in a laid‑back mood or looking to kick things up a notch. Drink specials keep the atmosphere lively, and the bartenders know just how to mix it up to complement your meal and mood. What ties it all together is the service. Cheerful, attentive ownership and staff make every visit feel personal—drinks stay topped up, orders arrive hot, and the whole place buzzes with positive energy. It’s welcoming to visiting tourists, UNR students, locals, and anyone in between. Whether you're hanging out post‑resort visit, fueling up before an evening out, or just grabbing a casual bite, The Wolf Den hits all the right notes. Go check it out—you’ll understand why this place is already one of Reno’s top destinations. More to come!

Love the aesthetics, love that they have pool table, darts and numerous other games. Kid friendly. Nachos were great and come out quick. Service is good. However, you can't possibly call yourself a sports bar if you don't even play major starting NFL games with over 12 or so tvs. I get if it's not your team or a rival team, but not playing a game is probably why there was only 7 ppl here including our party of 3. We still had drinks and apps because we came here all the way from Cali for Hot August Nights and decided to hit up a sports bar to catch the game, but def had to go to another one because they were playing the game. If it wasn't for that, we would have stayed to try more drinks and food. Just food for thought. **I believe they tried looking for the channel, but said they didn't have it.

I honestly don’t know how you could make a buffalo chicken sandwich better than the one I had here. From the crusty bread to the perfectly seasoned chicken, every bite was spot-on. The sandwich was massive, delicious, and came out fast. The price was surprisingly low for the size and quality, which just made it even better. The service was friendly and quick, and the whole vibe of the place was relaxed. It’s tucked right downtown, so it’s an easy stop for lunch. I was shocked the place wasn’t packed when I went in because the food was that good. If you’re in downtown Reno, I can’t recommend a better lunch spot than the Wolf Den. Don’t sleep on it—grab the buffalo chicken sandwich and thank me later.

The drink menu is a showstopper as well! With an extensive list of craft beers, signature cocktails, and fine wines, there's something for everyone. I highly recommend indulging in their famous Wolf Howler cocktail; it’s a refreshing blend that perfectly complements the meal.

The service at The Wolf Den is impeccable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing an unforgettable dining experience. They go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels special and well taken care of.

To top it all off, The Wolf Den Bar and Grill often hosts live music and events that make each visit unique and exciting. It's not just a place to eat; it’s a hub of community and joy.

bartender was on the phone a lot, dog running around the place jumping on the bar. got served a burger that tasted awful. i’ve never sent anything back before in my life but i couldn’t eat this burger. i let the lady sarah know and she started asking what was wrong with it i replied i didn’t know because it tasted so bad no matter what i removed. i’ve also been here before and enjoyed it. didn’t really check on us and after i sent the burger back she comped a beer but charged us for the burger when i only had a couple bites. on another occasion an indian man served us a beer we didn’t order and when he realized he apologized and gave us the one we ordered. however he too charged us for the beer we didn’t order or drink. 🤔🤔🤔 one day the specials are only during the week another day they’re everyday. one day the burger special is for every burger on the menu, another day they’re charging more for the wolf pack burger because it has more pattys. no...
