This place just opened by my work and it's really good. The set up is like Chipotle.
You have a choice between a Gyro or a Bowl. The the bowl will be a better value for your $13. You start by choosing black lentils, brown rice, or white rice (which looks a lot like Chipotles).
Afterward, they will ask if you want greens: spinach, lettuce, greens mix, and others. This last one is my choice; it has cabbage and other greens mixed and chopped together.
Then you will choose your meat. They have chicken or mixed grilled veggies, which are standard. The other meats will have an extra charge. They have lamb meatballs, steak, and spicy chicken. The signs that show the prices are kind of small, so pay attention.
After, you have a choice of different humus and yogurts. I like the Hamissa and Red Pepper Hummus. They are spicy and creamy. I would eat a whole bucket of it. If you're getting the spicy chicken and these two hummus, your bowl will be somewhat spicy.
Lastly, you can choose between extras like: pickled onion, corn, pico de gallo, Persian cucumbers, olives, lettuce, cheese, and others. They tend to pick these servings very small, so if you want them to add more, please don't be shy and ask them to put more. Like always, avocado is extra!
I always ask for a cup of water, but they have a good selection of interesting drinks with chia and cucumber.
So visit them, you will not be disappointed. Is new, so there will probably be a line, but it moves fast. Overall I was very happy with the service and the food.
To management: I understand that you know your lingo, but we don't. It's hard to pronounce the items, and most of us have to point at the items. It doesn't help that some items look the same, so please be patient. I had to point at the items because I didn't know what they were or what they were called. Please have your employees explain what the items are, I didn't get enough feedback, and I saw a lot of customers trying to make sense of the items. Maybe along the line, place pictures and names of the items so it makes it easier. I made the mistake of pointing somewhat over the counter and got yell for it, but a Mexican like me doesn't know the difference between 6 different humus so please instruct your staff to be a little more helpful and a little patient while we learn. And of course, we'll come back, you bring flavors and items that are hard to...
Read moreI have been a loyal fan of CAVA for years, so I was thrilled to hear that they were opening a new location in Rialto on December 13, 2024. CAVA offers Mediterranean cuisine featuring customizable greens & grains bowls, pitas, and salads that are both delicious and healthy.
When my wife and I visited CAVA Rialto for dinner yesterday, we were impressed by the clean, organized interior of the restaurant. The space was much larger than the CAVA location in Rancho Cucamonga, easily accommodating up to 50-60 people. This CAVA location also offers the convenience of drive-thru service, but if you're thinking about swinging by CAVA for a quick meal, just a heads up - their drive-thru is reserved for online orders only. That means you'll need to place your order online first before heading over to pick it up through the drive-thru. Despite the crowd, we were willing to wait in line for over 20 minutes before placing our order.
We ordered the Honey Harissa Chicken Bowl, Pita Chips with Crazy Feta, Cucumber Mint Lime, and Classic Lemonade. The food was not only delicious but also surprisingly generous in portion size (one bowl could easily feed two people). The staff was friendly and efficient, making our dining experience enjoyable. The prices were reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food we received.
Overall, our visit to CAVA Rialto was a super satisfying experience. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a tasty and healthy meal at an affordable price. It's important to note that CAVA is not a HALAL Mediterranean restaurant, but they do offer a HALAL meat option - the Braised Lamb. So, if you're looking for a tasty and wholesome meal that fits your dietary restrictions, CAVA has...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at Cava Rialto recently. After waiting in line, the young lady was very pleasant, but rushed us through the ordering process as though we were on a tight schedule, making the experience uncomfortable. I mentioned to my associates in a private conversation that I preferred the gentleman who helped us previously, but to my surprise, the so-called manager, Levy, interrupted our conversation uninvited and became quite aggressive.
I hadn’t asked for her opinion, yet she jumped in to offer unsolicited feedback. When I asked for her name, she revealed she was the manager, which made her behavior even more shocking. As a manager, I believe it’s important to have your team’s back, not to act in such a confrontational manner. She was unapologetic, and when I expressed my frustration, she responded by saying she didn’t care about her actions or the situation. This kind of customer service is absolutely unacceptable.
Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this location. It’s a shame because the food was fine, but the poor management and disrespectful behavior...
