I didn't want to leave Dallas without trying a kolache! We can get them where I'm from, but I know they're kind of a Texas "thing" and I wanted to give them a go before we left the state for home. Luckily, this establishment was near our hotel! We came early Sunday morning (shout out for being open fairly early on a Sunday!) and grabbed several flavors to try. They have sweet and savory options, and breakfast and lunch oriented kolaches too. We got the cream cheese, sausage, egg, and cheese, bacon, egg, and cheese, and potato, egg, and cheese for breakfast. The service was pleasant enough and got our order out quickly; plus, the price was right at under $15 including a drink we grabbed from the cooler. They had peppy pop music playing from the speakers and there was enough seating for us to sit down and munch before hitting the road. One small point of frustration is it's a little hard to tell the savory kolaches apart, at least the way ours were served. My dad got about 3 bites into my potato, egg, and cheese before realizing it was supposed to be mine. There's also not a ton of meat in the ones that have meat (bacon and sausage) which further complicates trying to differentiate them. That aside, we enjoyed the super soft and pillowy bread. The eggs inside were cooked nicely and the potatoes were faintly spicy. These were a filling and fairly cheap breakfast that carried us all the way to mid-Arkansas, so can't be too mad about that. Thanks for satisfying my curiosity!

First time trying Kolache and I really enjoyed it. There were so many variety to pick from. Didn’t know what to get so I decided on their sausage & gravy, sausage jalapeño & cheese, blueberry and chocolate Kolache. Man, they were pretty damn good. The sausage & gravy was spot on and the chocolate was so satisfying. They are known for the bread and I can see why. The bread was soft and fluffy perfect for the filling. My only complaint is they are not cheap. Each Kolache is around 2.00$ which is not my cup of tea base on the size of the Kolache. On a positive note, the service here is very good. The staff are extremely patient and helpful at assisting you chose the your Kolaches. I will definitely come back to try other flavors because all sound very good.

Kolache Factory is a great spot for a quick and flavorful bite! Ambience – It’s a tiny space with limited parking, so it can get a bit tight, but it’s cozy and functional for a quick stop. Service – Incredibly fast and efficient! Our kolaches were ready in just 2 minutes after ordering—perfect for when you’re on the go. Food – We tried a mix of chicken and veggie kolaches, and they were absolutely delicious. The buttery soft dough and flavorful fillings really entertained my tastebuds. Each bite was satisfying and packed with flavor. Great for a quick snack or light meal. Definitely worth a visit!

To start off Texas hot is my fav... But I stopped by Thanksgiving day Kolache Factory was open. I was greeted with Amazing staff with a smile on their face. I bought my usual Texas Hot but tried out the cream cheese danish recommended by this young lady in which I did not get her name but the danish was soooo good.. Today @ 9 am which is Sat I returned for another Texas hot , and also bought 2 bacon/egg, 2 sausage/ egg, 2 sausage gravy, and cream cheese danish. 😂 I told Rick this would last me the weekend. We both laughed! Rick was very friendly and offered me other selections Of your Kolache in which I thought he’s a keeper! Good salesperson👍 By the way Ke Ke have been there on both visits and she is as well a good salesperson and a keeper! They both went out the way today due to a situation that was fixed and I was happy! I will be back and I encourage others to come by Kolache Factory -Richardson **very friendly staff will go a long way and keep customers coming back for more. Good job Ke Ke and...

I stopped in today to check out Kolache Factory. The customer service was amazingly patient with me, as I picked out breakfast and lunch for myself and husband. The true way to test is to get a little of each. So sweet and savory, breakfast and lunch, for two people at $19. The price point was good. The food was really good and the savory side comes really close to memories of the street vendors in Denmark (Try the Hot Polish). Maybe a warning should go with the strudel, as I wanted to make a rum sauce for the apple and relive my childhood, while my husband wants to send me back for more Black Forest. Yes, the sweet kolaches were delicious & so were the traditional breakfast kolaches, but the bacon & egg breakfast kolache was incredible. Tried traditional and not so much, but all were excellent. 2 sweet kolaches, bacon & egg kolache, breakfast sausage kolache, 2 polish sausage kolaches, & 2...
