Hungry American Approved!!! Ok Read the reviews, good and bad. Tried it myself today. Let's break this order down, ok here goes. First please note this place is new and if you ever have worked in any service industry you will know new means mistakes can and will happen. I will note on my online pickup order there were no mistakes.
Here is the order 1 classic caesar salad with an ingredient sub request 2 Classic greek salad with add ons of carrots and red peppers and an extra dressing.
The Good. A good sized portion of food with the ability to mod the types of greens and subtract and add on anything they stock. If you take away an ingredient and add another it does not change the cost(unless you doing something like removing tomatoes and adding steak etc...) So its easy to manage your cost ingredients all were very fresh and nothing seemed questionable( noticed a bad review about bad onions, honestly I think they got pickled onions which would be a different smell and pungent) I do not think they were bad after looking at the pic they posted. Cost, just right at 14 dollars without drinks but a few additions to our salads that did have a small upcharge. I have spent more at all local fast food joints. last night at the famous buck tooth Beaver gas station their sandwiches alone are 7.49 to 8.99 so these guys are in line price wise. Let's hope it stays that way.
The Bad. I had a limited sampling so I have no critiques to put here as what we ordered came out right. No mistakes on the order, it was ready by the time I drove from one side of Rowlett to the other to go get it and everything was fresh.
I used to run a food blog called "The Hungry American" and went around dfw to sample places to eat from everyday to fine dining but just stopped after the pandemic. I will say in my experience this place is worth a go to get out of the fast food glut and eat better at a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt even like giving bad reviews yet I love this spot for the few workers that greet with a smile and go above and beyond when needed. Iām appalled at how the service has went down hill in the past couple of weeks. There is two employees specifically that have consistently showed lack of customer service. Those names are Aby and Zenith. I requested a minestrone soup and kindly asked if they can add more vegetables than juice because the first time I ordered I got very little vegetables and all juice so that next 3 visits I specified to add more vegetables than juice and they did just that. On the day Aby was working, she said āWe canāt do that.ā In all my 10+ years of customer service industry, I have never told a customer what I ācanāt do.ā Moving along, Zenith was on duty to work and she was taking the orders. I ordered a BBQ Ranch wrap and a frozen strawberry drink. She never greeted with a hello or how can I help you it was just āWhat would you like?ā Then ādrive to the window.ā After I said āThank you!ā She didnāt respond! I figured she was having a rough day. When I got to the window she was sitting, and Iām sure she was supposed to be standing, in a torn up roller chair and was laughing and giggling with the staff members. When I got my order from one of the employees who is always so kind and generous, I told him the order was wrong(I had gotten the wrap and she put in salad instead). He went back there to correct it for me. I told him āShe is slowing yāall up.ā This is a place myself and my husband always come to just about everyday but the service from those two women are really making me consider not coming back. They need to be retrained on how to properly communicate with the customers so as not offend them. I am not taking this up with the Guest Service either so no need to send a (AI)...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreProbably won't see this but I Wanted to apologize to the two pretty girls I accidentally scared today at the drive through . I walked up since my car was giving me issues at the time and figured it was nice out and they screamed upon seeing me two times and ran. At the time it freaked me out since I am a woman and I got scared at the screaming and wondered what I did wrong. But after thinking about it, I've never worked at a drive through but it would be scary if someone walked through (it was 10 minutes before close and tbh I'm black and uh it's dark) so I am so sorry I scared y'all. I realised how crazy it looked... it was the last thing I wanted to do. Thank you to the kind man who helped me out and sorry I was so clearly sad at the time. The food there is always good and the service as well (just don't scared them please ) Prices are fantastic and their lemonade is better than chick fil a. My salad I love: mixed greens and spinach, banana peppers, croutons, avacado, bacon, hard boiled egg, chicken, tomatos,...
