On the evening of Wednesday, I had the pleasure of visiting Mama Le to place an order for dinner. From the outset, I was impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. They were attentive, accommodating, and demonstrated an admirable willingness to tailor my order precisely to my dietary preferences. I specifically requested that my sandwich be prepared without mayonnaise or pate, and upon receiving my food approximately fifteen minutes later, I was pleased to confirm that my instructions were followed exactly as requested.
However, upon returning to my hotel and beginning my meal, I realized that one item, my spring roll, had inadvertently been omitted from the order. I promptly contacted the restaurant to inform them of the oversight. The staff member who answered the call was polite, apologetic, and immediately inquired about my location. Upon learning that I was staying only a short distance away, they took it upon themselves to personally deliver the missing spring roll to my hotel within approximately five minutes.
This level of customer service is exceedingly rare in the restaurant industry. Many establishments, when faced with such circumstances, would require the customer to return to retrieve the missing item. Mamalay, however, chose a different approach, one rooted in genuine care, accountability, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Their decision to promptly correct the error and deliver the missing item reflects a standard of service that deserves recognition.
In an era where many businesses overlook the finer points of hospitality, Mama Le distinguishes itself by going above and beyond. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and integrity demonstrate a sincere dedication to their patrons’ experience. For these reasons, I not only commend their culinary offerings but also their exemplary customer service.
I extend my gratitude to the team at Mama Le for their promptness, integrity, and attention to detail. I will certainly be returning, not merely for the food, but for the experience of being treated with respect and care.
As someone from California who was in town for work, I was especially appreciative of the warmth and professionalism extended to me, it made my visit both enjoyable...
Read moreYoooo! I think I found a new regular lunch hangout. Mama Le made me a believer. I came here for lunch with a friend since it’s close to where we both work. I’ve been sleeping on Mama Le! Please don’t be mad Mama, I’m a fan now!
The parking lot is roomy with plenty of parking and plenty of space for me to back in park like I like to. The outside of the restaurant looks very nice and modern. Same in the inside. Nice decorations on the wall displaying Vietnamese culture. Vietnamese music playing as well. The hostess/ waitress greeted us upon entering and promptly brought us a menu and water.
I’m not going to lie. I wanted to order an old favorite for me like Bún bò Huế, Bò né or Bò kho, maybe even bánh mì. Instead I decided to try something different. Now there was a slight mixup on my plate as I ordered Đậu Hủ Xào Sả Ớt or Tofu With Chili & Lemon Grass and I ended up getting Bò Xào Sả Ớt or Spicy Lemongrass Onion Beef. Ironically, I wasn’t even practicing my Tiếng Việt this time. I’ll tell you right now, I’m not mad at them at all. Maybe they knew what I needed better than I did because the Bò Xào Sả Ớt was on point! It had just the right amount of spice and heat. I know when my nose starts running but I haven’t started crying yet, I’m in my zone. The beef was tender. The veggies were fresh. I don’t even eat a ton of rice but I ate all that rice. I could see my reflection in my plate when I was done. In all my excitement, I forgot to mention the appetizers. Fried calamari that looked like onion rings and tasted great. Crispy tofu that was completely crispy on the outside but so soft on the inside. I wonder if they make a spicy version?
My friend ordered the Salmon Chiên or Fried Salmon. It looked delicious and they said it was. I’m definitely ordering that at some point.
I didn’t tell the waitress about the mixup until I went to pay. She was apologetic but I assured her it was more than okay. I enjoyed what I got and I eat both meat and vegetable based dishes, so no harm.
I gotta come back to this place and after telling a few other friends about it, they do to. Looking forward to my next...

To start I’d like to express how well this facility is managed. Both owners and employees provided the most valuable customer service, kind, caring, yet genuine individuals at Mama Le.
Out of the 8 items ordered, I experienced the most enjoyment out of the 3 dishes it the photos.
Fried Banana Ice Cream Rolls: I’m not going to exaggerate, but when I say Delicious I mean DELICIOUS. This lightly fried sweet plantain in a crisp yet delicate egg roll wrapper served with a soft coconut ice cream and a rose cut flavorful strawberry in the center. All setting over a perfectly lined combination of caramel and lined chocolate.
Before I express my love for these next two. Pour yourself a glass of refreshing water, if you love spices, spice and everything you ever wanted in a soup you’ll most definitely say yes to the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup and Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup. Now, don’t steer away they have many other choices like the Beef Stew which gives you the option to add as much or as little spicy as you like. As for me I prefer spicy! That being said I really enjoyed the Beef Stew and its protein packed bits, the onion, the ginger, the basil, the broth, the aromatic spices, even the utensil, I mean wow! Each meal had some of the best earth bounding flavors giving me that deep connection with pho and its traditional roots.
To end the meal I liked to walk away with a choice of beverage, from a glass of water to a smoothie they are savory in flavor with a astonishing appearance. Everything about the smoothies was smooooth.
When you have a chemist, an analyst and mama le’s roots in the kitchen you get an experience worth more than words can express.
I am overly pleased to say this is by far the best Vietnamese...
