McDonald's — Restaurant in Ringgold

7/10/25 11:35am - Stopped at this location while passing through this general area because my Grandchildren are collecting the Mini McDonalds Toys. To avoid getting duplicates, we were told by a store Manager you can ask the cashier to look at the number on the bottom of the box. We have successfully done this at 6 stores. I stopped here and asked the same question - can you do me a favor and look at the bottom of the tiny box and tell me what number you're currently on? - simple enough request?! Apparently not because the 450 pound MANAGER tried to argue with me that they're prepackaged because she didn't want to walk 6 steps and help a customer with what?! CUSTOMER SERVICE?! HER JOB?! Yes, I know the toys are prepackaged, but Im asking for the number on the bottom - 01, 02, 03, etc. - not for her to open it and show me. She FINALLY stormed off to make the 6 WHOLE STEPS - she started lifting the little mini boxes out of the Happy Meal boxes, screaming the number and slamming the little boxes back into the big boxes. She did that for 7 boxes. I asked to check ONE and she decided to make a spectacle out of a simple CUSTOMER request. Mind you, this was in front of 5 other CUSTOMERS standing in the lobby - one of which she also yelled at about how his wraps will be 10 minutes for the chicken to cook and he will just need to wait. If she cant handle her job, she needs to find another. Ive NEVER been to this location before and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone if this is how the MANAGER is going to treat customers with a simple question. Im sorry that I disturbed her. I signed a contract and planned a birthday party with this establishment months ago. Gave a deposit and everything. Called several times to verify what would be included in the party package ac reassured at every turn. The day of the party, we get there to celebrate the 8 year birthday of my niece and the manager save crew had NO IDEA what I was talking about. The manger on duty, Shannon informed me she was in the middle of pulling a double, she had worked 3rd and it was about 2:45pm the time of our conversation. So here I am in almost panick mode because I've got 30ish people coming for a birthday party. Well I went and sat down and had some deep breaths and put myself in Shannon's shoes, as someone who's worked and managed fast food, I knew exactly where she was coming from. There are so many times when you've got things flying your direction and you have to make spare of the minute decisions. Shannon attempted to call her boss, I'm not sure if they ever answered her or not, but at one point i looked out and saw that Shannon was leaving while we were all there waiting on her to fix a party and at that moment I almost had a total meltdown. I'm very glad I didn't. Shannon left to go buy a birthday cake from the store because the one McDonald's was supposed to supply, wasn't there. She had two employees, even tho they were busy and seemed short staffed, dress as the McDonald's characters. And Shannon herself could not have been more helpful and more kind. I don’t like writing reviews like this but the blonde girl that works nights is EXTREMELY RUDE. This has happened multiple times to the point that I had to write this. The first notable time was when my friend and I went out and we ordered some things. We were very nice and courteous and, I’m telling you…this girl was EXTREMELY RUDE!! She slammed the sliding drive through door in our face, grabbed my friends card from his hand and then rudely shoved it back at him. Was very impolite and rude the entire time like we had done something wrong……we had not. Just two dudes wanting food late at night, lol. There have been other times but I will talk about tonight. It’s about 12:45 and I sit in the order kiosk about 5-10 minutes with no absolutely no response. I finally have enough of that and I pull over to the 2nd window. The girl makes eye contact with me and keeps sweeping like she hasn’t a care in the world. Then she finally comes to the window and I tell her that I’ve been waiting for close to 10 minutes at that point. She says that there’s only 2 people running the store in a rude tone. She asks me what I want and I tell her I have a code and she asks what it is, while still having an attitude and being rude. I tell her and the food actually came out pretty quit I will say. I tell her thankyou after she hands me my food and she has such a attitude and a fake smile it’s ridiculous.
