Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Riverdale

I wanted to add our positive birthday party experience, since I was hesitant about booking one due to the mixed reviews. We ended up booking a party despite the reviews because the value was really great. Especially compared to other kid's party places in the area. We booked the Mega package so the kids would have pizza, drinks, dippin' dots, along with the play passes. The 'upgraded prizes' for the guests was a big bonus, because the games don't give out a lot of tickets. But the kid's had a great time regardless.

My son absolutely loved the ticket blaster experience and I think our attendant was very generous with how many he 'caught'. :) My husband and I really enjoyed the sausage pizza and the kid's devoured the pepperoni and cheese pizzas. However, it does taste better when it's fresh, after an hour or so it wasn't great. We were the only party scheduled for our time slot which probably contributed to our positive experience, but the venue was still pretty busy and the staff was on top of it.

Michael was our party host and was so great. He really elevated our party experience. He checked in with us frequently and seemed enthusiastic to help with anything we needed. He laid out the itinerary with the perfect amount of detail to help us know what to expect. This was particularly helpful for me to answer the kid's questions. He made the whole party effortless on our part, which I greatly appreciated since this was my first time hosting a birthday party with my son's friends. If I could give zero stars I would , had my daughters bday party there few weekends ago paid for the highest package . Our host was horrible , kept having to go chase him down and find him , pizza is overly priced and doesn’t taste worst than a 5$ frozen pizza , than paying so much money the bounce area is a additional 10$ per kid which is insane to me with that place not even being that big and of course the kids would want to go in there , u would think with the highest bday package would be included . Manager was super unfriendly when I went and tracked her down to ask bout our final cost was way more than was suppose to be . She completely ignored me and talked to my host over me when I was standing right there . Had no idea what the schedule was our host didn’t tell us anything . The whole point in doing it there was to have a stress free time and enjoy time with my daughter and family and friends , not having to run around like a headless chicken . Super hot in there , when it came to do the dance could hardly hear the screen that was playing telling the kids what to do in the dance . Super super disappointed, my family was so excited for a location to come back close to us and was a total let down . My kids would of had a better time at a free park and would of been a lot less stress and disappointment. The party that came after ours were asking our crew what’s going on they was there for a hour already and the host told them nothing and they was super upset , actually everyone in that place was upset . We came here a few months ago for my daughter's birthday. We paid for X ammount of kids. we had to pay for all of the kids and time cards up front and we were told there would be not refund if they didn't show up. THAT IS FINE, WE UNDERSTAND THAT. 3 of the kids did not show up so we had 3 cards that granted unlimited play for 2 hours. We asked if we had to use the cards that day or if we could come back at another time to use them. We were told we could save them and come back another day to use them. We were told this information 2 separate times when we asked about it. So we saved the card to come back another day. We went back again just a couple days ago to use the cards and they would not work, when we inquired about the issue we were then informed that the cards are only good for the day they were purchased. So basically we were lied to for some reason about the cards, if we had known that the cards were not good past that initial purchase date we would have stayed the couple extra hours to use what we had payed for. We were not offered a solution to make up for being lied to, no refund, no new replacement cards, nothing. The employee just said, nope that info was incorrect. What a massive middle finger to us that was. This is basically stealing our money. I will not be back to this location again. As this type of lying and misinformation and the inability to rectify issed caused by said lies are very unprofessional and shady, ill put my buisness with toads, boondocks, and the rush, at least they are honest.. please do better and stop doing...
