This specific Riverdale location is absolutely incredible and I won't go anywhere else because I feel so valued as a customer here and I feel like family. The General Manager, Ryan is remarkable as well. In fact he has been awarded and received recognition multiple times for best manager by restaurant associations and his plaques and trophies are visibly displayed, as they deserve to be, on the walls throughout the restaurant. This recognition is well deserved and it is apparent by his presence in the environment. He is right there with the patrons who he serves every day. He makes a point of personally connecting with everyone during their visit to ensure that they have been well served and he expresses his gratitude for their support and their business. I also have been able to converse with the employees of the restaurant and they consistently express their joy in working under Ryan as their manager and as a result they feel valued and supported and they are appropriately trained in best practices in customer service and it shows in their friendly manner and hard work. They stay positive even during the busiest and most stressful times. The customer always comes first. I've watched you treat numerous customers like garbage, you were telling one guy to get the hell out of there at one point. You're super fake the first few visits, like WAY too friendly, uncomfortably friendly, then after a while your true character comes out.. total DB!! One example was last time I came I ordered a salad I asked if I could have it in a large container, you proceeded to tell me that that's not how you guys make them but you'll go ahead and make an exception this time and proceeded to tell me you don't know why anybody orders salads.. and then gave me all brown/rotten lettuce, AND charged WAY too much for that brown lettuce. The meat quality has gotten bad, the portions are small for the price as well. Get a real job and I bet you'll feel better about yourself. Read moreI decided to give this place a try Saturday night. I pulled up and the chairs were all up on tables. I doubled checked closing time. It was 30 minutes before, and I just wanted a to go order. I walked in and one employee was sweeping up. Another was taking a break in a booth. There was at least one person in the kitchen. I looked at the menu for about 30 seconds and headed to the counter. As I was walking to the counter, the girl sweeping walked into the back. Her and the girl in the kitchen moved to a place in the back where I couldn’t see them anymore. I waited a good 5-10 minutes. No one said a single word to me from the time I walked in to the several minutes at the counter. This included the employee on break. I know she was on break and didn’t expect her to help me, even after waiting when I turned to leave she was staring at me and didn’t say a word.
