Maybe its the new management or something but service has drastically gotten horrible. I've been coming here for a long time and always had a great experience until last time. I placed an order for pickup on lunch break and the ladies in the front were all so rude. I paid for a drink which didn't specify if I get a fountain drink or a soda can. I was carrying a large order so I picked up a can for easy carrying. They literally yelled that I cannot take the can and I must put it back and take the fountain drink. I said it doesn't state in my order which drink I can take, she argued back and said its not the can put it back. I asked to pay the difference in cost but they insist I get fountain drink only. Wasted my time on a short lunch break along with other coworkers waiting on their meal as well. Taste of the food has changed a lot too specially the chicken. If you cannot afford for someone to take a soda can vs fountain drink please state that in the menu when an order is being placed that only fountain drink is allowed not a soda can. None the less the ladies were unapologetically rude, didn't apologize for the inconvenience nor the behavior. Also they will block or delete bad reviews to make them look good on yelp UPDATE: In response back to you. I don't get a paper receipt when I order. I get a receipt from DoorDash. It clearly states "coke and fries" Maybe you guys should update that to “fountain drink and fries" to avoid this issue again. And no I did not yell at whoever that was in the front, if she was a manager then she herself needs some coaching. Those ladies were being greedy about a soda can. They NEVER apologized nor offered to fix anything I mean I know you’ll be biased but at least don’t lie. Yes you guys should definitely work on your service. Also I've never needed to pick up a soda can before anytime I've ordered so no I don't know how specific...
Read moreThis type of food is usually fresh and delicious so I decided to give these guys another try. Years ago i had visited but was not at all satisfied. So today, being Monday I decided to splurge and spend some money but eat good. Besides when you pay close to $20 for a plate one expects that the food at least will be good and fresh. But that is not what i got. I understand times are tough and restaurants have to jump thru hoops to stay afloat, but when you decide to sell expensive food and you served your customers food that is one step away from not being eatable, that is a problem. I ordered the Beef Sharmawa it says that its prepared on a rotisserie fire slowed cooked to perfection, i though i was getting the works, the grilled tomate and pepper, the hot pita bread and delicious rice, instead i got something that resembled prison food. The beef was heated and old, the rice was cold, the tomatoe salad not up to par, and the only thing i enjoyed was the humus that i could had bought at the store for $3 dollars. And i realized this is the reason this place is not packed, because this place decided that despite their high prices, it's ok to served below average food. If they cared about their customers and took pride in the food they were putting out, things would be different. If you are not willing to serve authentic fresh rotisserie food, then don't charge the customer the price tag for it. We are not stupid and we still have to eat your disgusting food. You can tell by the meat and all the meat pieces in the rice that this meat had been frozen and reheated. I had a hard time eating this plate and i can't believe i paid $21 dollar for it. But the joke is on me for trusting that they had gotten better. Definitely not coming back...
Read moreWhen I looked around the area on the map I saw this place and my mind immediately began conjuring up memories or various flavors and textures. I began to get excited. Upon entering what I found was a very generic fast food feeling restaurant. The ordering got misunderstood when I ordered the gyro sandwich and asked for the meal(which is on their menu as stated). I had to ask to have the fries and drink added after the fact since the meal part wasn't understood or heard. I then tried to find a place in the restaurant that didn't have an air vent blasting it since it is winter and very cool for the area this day. I was not able to find one so I choose a spot with the wind at my back at least. When arrived I was immediately disappointed. The sandwich looked dry and boring. It was flat bread with admittedly generous proportions of meat very little thinly sliced onion and 2 slices of tomato. I was given 1 small container of a white colored sauce that was to thick to drizzle or pour. After adding the sauce in I tried a bite and found the meat to be dry and very bland. The flat bread was soft but again also very bland. I eventually had to ask for a second container of the white sauce to give enough flavor to eat the sandwich. The French fry portion was very generous and the flavoring they out on it is good enough. I would have really enjoyed maybe a little more cooked. Drinks well there is nothing talk about. The smallest select at a restaurant maybe ever and nothing to mention. I noted the amount of stars when I choose this place and I am not sure what the other reviewers see. Maybe I have missed something. I won't need to return and because the staff was at least polite I gave a...
