Hong Kong Fastfood — Restaurant in Riverside

I've been to more Chinese-American fast food spots all over SoCal and the rest of the country than I care to count, and usually get their 3 item combo to get a decent idea of their quality. So my go to is all steamed rice (for a solid base and no other flavors to get in the way from fried rice or chow mein, which I will try later if I find the place decent) with teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and BBQ pork (IMHO is the best way to gauge a restaurant's ability to deliver solid meats). All this to say that this place is by far one of the best I've ever had; the quality and cook of the chicken overall is fantastic, the teriyaki flavor is on point, the orange chicken is extremely skillfully done (unlike other places that overcook & make the coating too crunchy), and the BBQ pork is up there with some of the better ones I've tasted. I have ordered from this restaurant several times. Most of the time it’s good food with simple errors with order. I ordered this evening card was charged and never delivered food, no calls, no anything. I called 40 mins after delivery was to arrive and got nothing but excuses, that they were busy, forgot to make order, and didn’t even offer any remedy the situation. They said maybe I should call and cancel through Grubhub. I called Grubhub and they cancel the order and said they would credit back my card in 5 business days. Then Grubhub block my ability to write a review. Just poor customer service on both parts, Hong Kong Express primarily but Grubhub for not wanting poor reviews.

Ok.... So I paid $12.23. They were very friendly. They even gave me 2 LARGE bottles of hand sanitizer for free. I ordered 3 size plate. Rice, chicken jalapeno ( had lots of it in my container lol why not sure why they serve like that, it was more than the meat) sweet n sour chicken, and pepper veggies chicken. The size is good but look at my picture of the jalapenos lol. ( My battery was low so no lighting sorry) Also is that really chicken or is it CHICKEN FEET??????? I DIDN'T EAT IT BCUZ I GOT SCARED BCUZ IT LOOKED LIKE PIECES OF SHAPED CHICKEN FEET. NOOOO LIE!
