I had never been to this location before. I took my 99 year old mother there because it's her favorite fast food. It is difficult for my mother to get around at her age, and the person behind the counter watched us and our difficulties getting into the restaurant. After getting my mother seated I walked up to the counter to place our order. The person behind the counter made eye contact with me numerous times but would not take my order. I went back to our table and my mother asked me to wait a minute and try again. I did so and received the same treatment the person behind the counter made eye contact with me multiple times and look the other way. During the time in between attempts to order I watched the counter and the lady behind the counter waited on other people of her ethnicity but would not take our order. The person behind the counter put her back to us as we left the restaurant.

Read moreAfter a long day all I wanted was food and my hotel bed. I saw a Kentucky Fried Chicken 🍗 and my taste buds watered as I had not had KFC chicken in years. I ordered my favorite since childhood- many moons ago. "Three pieces Original Recipe, 2 legs and a wing please with mashed potatoes and slaw and a Dr. Pepper. Thank you" 🥴 My order was wrong. I got 2 thighs and the chicken was so greasy that the entire bottom of the box was saturated. The white meat of the wing was dry and tough. Even the Dr Pepper wasn't calibrated right so the tatse was off and flat. The biscuit could have been used as a child's hockey puck. The only saving grace was the mashed potatoes, gravy and cole slaw. At least I had that to eat.
I called and spoke with Jordan who was so sweet and tried to accommodate me with a replacement meal. While the gesture was sweet - I gave it to an employee at the hotel I stayed in, it did nothing for my present situation. I was too tired to return and was leaving town in the AM.
