It was disappointing to say the least. The sushi was pretty good so I couldn't rate it lower, but the service was not so good, and the chicken entrees were terrible. Went with a group of about 12 so knew it wouldn't be super fast, but when we went to place our orders, the waitress took 1 order at a time and then went back and input it into the computer. Basically taking almost 20 mins to take all of our orders. Mind you 20 mins after we had already been sitting for 20+ mins waiting for then to come take our order. So with the ringing up of orders all spread out, the food all came out, at completely separate times. The 1st group of people to get their food tried to be polite and wait, but it was almost 35 mins after they got their food, until the last person finally got theirs. Causing their food to be cold. Besides that the waitress acted very rudely to everyone as she brought out the food. Now moving on to the chicken. I got chicken katsu and my kids got sesame chicken. Both fried battered chicken options. When those came out they both had a ton of just fried batter in the box, than any actual chicken. I think I counted 8 pieces of just fried batter in my box and only 5 actual pieces of chicken. So I basically paid for fried bread crumbs. Same with the sesame chicken. I didn't actually count those though. I could continue, but I don't need to. As far as the sushi, the rolls were pretty good, but they were made on the smaller side, and they took forever to make. Oh and going back to the whole placing separate orders in the computer... there were several groups that came in after us and got their food at least 10 mins before we even got anything. Oh almost forgot, it was like pulling teeth to get waters for...
Read moreIf you were deciding between this or 7-11 sushi.. choose 7-11 sushi. I left with nothing but a stomach ache. When we let the manager Jay know about our disappointment he was borderline argumentative and resistant to any kind of critique or concern and actually seemed upset that we were unhappy but not in the way that he wanted to help us but more like we insulted him nor did he apologize of our dissatisfaction. He first only offered 20% off then when we asked for a better discount he reluctantly took off our appetizer which is not what we complained about, but I’ll tell you now the calamari appetizer was gross as well. The dragon roll was discolored. The tempura Turned a green color and we didn’t have avocado on it so it was very concerning. My partner and I Are avid sushi eaters we get sushi 1-2 times a week and she always gets a dragon roll so we know how it’s made. Lastly it took about 10 minutes for a waiter to acknowledge us after being seated.. we almost left but we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. We usually look up ratings eating anywhere.. if I saw it was a 4.1 on Google and a 3.0 on Yelp I would have never stepped foot into this restaurant. Please treat your guest with respect and serve fresh food.

Read moreI will say that the best part of the experience here is the price. The rolls are significantly cheaper than other sushi restaurants in the region. The rolls are smaller in circumference however than those more expensive rolls. The plus is you can have more variety for your cost.
The restaurant decor seems fun, if you like the darker look.
The teriyaki chicken was great and not too sweet. The chicken was tender and not rubbery. Bento box we ordered was well done.
Staff is very friendly and was attentive to our needs.
The menu’s roll items seemed like a lot of variations of the same ingredients. That isn’t bad, it just is what it is.
Parking here is horrible. All the businesses have to share a tiny lot.
The restaurant could use a deep cleaning in the dining area. I am giving the benefit of the doubt to the restaurant as it is really hard to hire staff and stay profitable right now.
Prawns need to be cleaned and deveined before tempura flakes and frying.
Overall I have been here a few times over the last couple years, and...
