Pho Station — Restaurant in Rocklin

Inconsistency can be damaging. I decided to eat here twice before giving a review. The first time was great, the second time was terrible. I had the crispy noodles both time. The first time was flavorful and had all the ingredients I expected from a "special, or in Vietnamese a Dac Biet", however the second time I went in the staff didn't know what I was talking about and said this item was not on the menu and therefore they can not serve it. She said the only version of the crispy egg noodles was the shrimp version. I didn't want to argue so I ordered it, it was too salty and the shrimp was rubbery. I didn't even want to finish the meal because it was too salty. Also the staff sat us first, then a few minutes later someone else came in and was seated but then she came to them first to take the order. While we waited a while for her to come back to our table. I hate when staff does that. Anyways, I also had the pho, the pho was decent, not as generous with with rear steaks as other pho places but it was good enough. Final verdict, it's decent, nice food presentation, but inconsistent with taste. Staff was borderline decent. I would go here again but only as a last resort, I review a lot of local pho places that has better service and flavor. I am willing to edit my review if my experience change next...

I very rarely write reviews, but I decided I had to with the experience that I had here.

A group of people walk out of the restaurant whispering about how a customer was super angry. I didn't understand until we walked in. We received no greeting/acknowledgement from the staff when we arrived. We waited by the door for a while before getting seated. After getting seated, we were not offered water or the menu. I had my daughter grab a few menus from the front counter. While looking at the menu, another group walks in and they were greeted and was offered the menu right away by the staff. I looked around and other groups of people were still waiting for their food and some looking very agitated. I don't know how long other groups have been waiting for their food, but I know that I did not want to wait. We walked out and was able to get food from another place across the street. I did not have a good experience here and will most likely not come back due to the poor customer service...

We’ve been her a couple of times and have enjoyed our meals. I’m vegan, so I’m extremely happy that there are a few vegan dishes. The food hasn’t been consistent and twice they didn’t get the order right. (My husband ordered at the restaurant for take out. He ordered a rice dish, but when we opened the container at home, we found noodles instead. I had a sneaking suspicion that it wasn’t vegan either, ugh!). On our most recent visit my husband had the Pad Thai and I had the vegan (veggie) Pho Noodle Soup. The soup was delicious and my husband said the same of the Pad Thai! Pho Station did an excellent job at renovating the space. The decorations are nice and the play nice music. This is something I say about all establishments, especially restaurants, they need to clean the windows and doors! I feel it speaks volumes about the cleanliness of the establishment. All in all, I do recommend...
