Breakfast was so good at Rosita’s in Rockport… we went back twice. The omelette was amazing, but that breakfast tostada with an over-medium egg stole the show. And the Mexican poutine? Carne guisada gravy, melted cheese, pure heaven. I’d come back to Rockport just for this place. Go try it! #breakup #food #rockport #texas #fyp

Very disappointed. My family and I who traveled from San Antonio, were highly recommended to go to this restaurant from local reviews. All the food that was ordered had no flavor and did not taste nor look authentic to Hispanic cuisine. The enchiladas were watery when the sauce is supposed to be at a thick gravy consistency, the rice and beans were dry and had no flavor, the "queso" simply tasted like velveeta, when we asked for cheese on the tacos they put a SLICE of cheese (not even shredded cheese), the barbacoa was caked in grease yet the meat was extremely dry, the carne guisada gravy tasted like cheap gravy with chunks of fat, the only thing you could taste in the carnitas was the onions on top, the eggs were severely over cooked, and they charged us for extra tacos we never ordered. The only good thing was the salsa and the chips. We would have liked to talk to management to possibly receive a refund , but they were busy with other customers and our disappointment was so high that we just left without even eating because only a few bites were enough to deter us. One may see it as spoiled but when you know what's good then you eat it, and when something is bad you leave it even if it's considered a waste of food.

A Flavor Fiesta at Rosita's Taco Shop!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rosita's Taco Shop, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I stepped in, the vibrant and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a memorable meal.

The menu offers a delightful array of Mexican culinary delights, and I was particularly impressed by the authenticity of the flavors. The tacos were a highlight—fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness that left me craving more.

The staff at Rosita's deserves special mention for their warmth and attentiveness. They were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also eager to ensure that every diner had a superb experience. The service was prompt, and they went the extra mile to accommodate any special requests.

The ambiance is casual yet charming, making it an ideal spot for both a quick bite and a leisurely meal. Whether you're a taco aficionado or just looking for a taste of genuine Mexican cuisine, Rosita's Taco Shop is a must-visit.

In conclusion, Rosita's Taco Shop exceeded my expectations in terms of both taste and service. I left with a satisfied palate and a strong recommendation for anyone seeking an authentic and enjoyable Mexican dining experience. I'll certainly be back for...

I recently visited the this “Taco Shop” restaurant in Rockport, Texas, and unfortunately, my experience was not great. Here’s why: No Wait Staff: The first thing that struck me was the absence of wait staff. Instead of being seated and having a waiter take our order, we had to pay at the counter first. This set a rather impersonal tone for the visit. Non-Traditional Ingredients: The food itself was disappointing. The cheese on the tacos was, quite frankly, just SLICED CHEESE!! This is far from Tex-Mex tradition. Tex-Mex cuisine usually involves melted cheese with a richer and more flavorful experience. Unusual Side Dish: Perhaps the strangest part was the use of french fries in the Mexican Huevos Rancheros plates. French fries are not a traditional Tex-Mex side dish and felt out of place. Overall, this restaurant missed the mark on delivering an authentic Tex-Mex experience. If you’re in Rockport and craving genuine Tex-Mex, you might want to explore other...
