Five Guys — Restaurant in Rockwall

Gone way down over the past year. First and foremost I've been a customer of this place for 3 years. Over the past year the quality of the burgers and the staffing has gone down especially when you account for the price of food.

In resturant experience: we ordered in advance and upon first observation walking into the resturant there were 6 employees working and 4 were working the line. They didnt look very organized as they were occasionally looking up at us. And one of the employees told the coworker "I have burgers ready but no buns". Wife ordered a milk shake and the milk shake was very soup and didnt look frozen at all. I was still waiting on our food. And after a few min the employee waved to our food sitting on the counter that was also sitting there for five min. As I was walking up to get the food the employee said to me "you didn't get the clue?" I choose not to engage as I was already waiting for awhile before I got my food.

The food: order was wrong,my wife always orders a plain cheese burger. She opened the burger and noticed onions inside the wrapper stuck to the cheese. There werent any onions in the burger but instead of making her a new burger they just picked it out. The fries were completely unsalted. We had to add seasoning in order to even make thw fries edible.

Conclusion: go at your own risk, service is bad, they dont pay attention to detail on your order, and they are slow even with being...

Honestly, the food was good & service but the I couldn’t help but to notice how this lady treated her coworker. I will say I had no idea what was wrong with this young man to get treated like he did by this lady in a black shirt but some people don’t deserve a level of authority. This young man was TRYING & it was not hard one bit to just see he was TRYING but the patients she had with him was very unnecessary & immature. No customers complained beside this one lady who brought her fries back & the young man happened to make them. When i say this lady was impatient & disrespectful towards this man who was TRYING. She was disrespectful. I pray for his mental health & things of that nature because that lady did not take it into account. YOU DON’T TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT NO MATTER HOW OLD YOU ARE OR THEY ARE! BE MATURE & HAVE SOME EMPATHY. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT SOMEONE IS GOING THROUGH AND I’M GOING TO PRAY FOR HIM CAUSE YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE HE DIDN’T UNDERSTAND BUT HE WAS TRYING. I don’t wish unemployment on anyone but this lady needs it to be brought to her attention. Thats how people off themselves for real. As told to me by my Wife: My son and husband went to a Five Guys in Huntsville and raved about how good it was, so when I saw that there was on in Rockwall. I got super excited to go there.

So this last week, I was able to go to Five Guys,and based on my families review, I was eager to see what these great burgers would taste like.

Flat,flavorless burger, like what has been said. The lettuce I had was the worst part of the head, yellow and mostly core. Buns were nothing special, almost as if they just took a Mrs. Baird's grocery bought bun and slapped on the burger.

Felt it over priced for what I got, and the fact there was no "meal deals" was kinda frustrating.

Fries were ok, not the best. And even though they were seasoned with loads of things(at least it looked like they were) they were not that enjoyable. Had I known how costly a bland meal was going to be, I would have gone somewhere else. Felt the price point compared to the overall taste/presentation of the meal was terrible.

The peanut barrel was even bland. Stale and flat. Can't even compare to how places like Texas Road House has them.

The staff was ok and the place clean.

But based on this experience I cannot recommend Five...
