Rodeo goat is a fantastic burger joint and honestly great drinks. In rockwall Snuffers is it's only rival and rodeo goat blows them out of the water. With unique burgers, attentive staff, outstanding cheese fries and special dessert. Also they are eco-friendly using paper straws that dont unravel easily vs plastic. (Thank you!) Today my husband dined with me. We got the cheese fries with the surprise! Personally they were more than we could handle and we can hungry. They aren't greasy which is weird to say about cheese fries. Fully loaded it was very mixed well and it seemed every fry had topping We also got drinks. I got the BLTx and honestly it was so smooth and a great flavor. (Perfect recommendation considering I was originally looking at ciders. Thank you for having the woodchuck raspberry!) My husband got the tangomoon. It does follow its name with the tang. But honestly mixed very well. It is Very orangey. Like a spiked orange slush but better. Only down side is it's hard to drink through the straw. When ordering you are not asked to what level your burger is cooked but this will not matter for the burger. My burger was the rayhubbard burger. It was so juicy and had a sweet tang that I am so glad I got this burger. Though I was nervous because of the BlackBerry compote to order it was a perfect surprise. My husband got the inner beauty. The spice of the mayo and mushrooms paired well. The meat has great flavor. You could taste each part. And though we didnt need it we got the goat balls for dessert. Which you should not forget. They were a light sweet treat. Whoever orders their fruit and produce needs extra props. The orange slice in his tang drink was fantastic. All the blackberries were perfect and same for the produce. Each piece had great flavor and mixed well with each other. Also a great highlight they validate parking!

Positives: Burgers were juicy, thick, flavorful & cooked perfectly. We enjoyed some of the excellent quality toppings like blue cheese, havarti, sugared bacon, beefsteak tomato & avocado. You can order one of the several menu burgers or build your own. Fresh cut fries & goat chips were excellent too. Prices of $9.50-$11.50 for a burger seemed a bit pricey at first, but I think it's reasonable for the quality & quantity you're getting. There are also several food choices other than burgers. Service was good, cheery, friendly. Large selection of draft & bottled beers. Negatives: First, no one greeted us at the door when we first walked in & there's no signage that tells you anything about seating. The place was nearly full. For a first timer, it's confusing. Wonder how that will work out when the place is full & a lot of people are waiting for tables. Second, imo, there are too many of the long counter-height tables jam-packed together. Would be nice if there were a few more booths & smaller regular-height individual tables. Third, imo, the decor & atmosphere is lacking. There is none except for a goat head in one corner. Mostly, you're just looking at a plain boring white cinderblock wall in a big cold impersonal warehouse. Would be nice if there were a few decent wall decorations & more big screen TVs. Overall, the food is excellent & delicious. Easy to see why they win awards for best burgers. I will be back with family & friends, as long as I don't have to wait for a table or go searching for a seat.

Good food! My husband got a smoked applewood bacon cheeseburger with natural cut fries that had sea salt on them. I got the sugar burger (topped with grilled peaches, candied bacon, caramelized onions, & arugula) with an impossible patty & sweet potato fries. We also got the smore's goat balls with marshmallow fluff & the original brie cheese goat balls with blackberry jam. Our server was very nice. However, we only give it 4 stars because 1: it was very crowded & you don't get a private table, your basically touching elbows with the people next to you & backs with the person behind you. If they have kids with them it can get very irritating. It seems like they tried to shove as many seats in one place as fire code would allow. 2: It is a bit pricey for just the burger, $11-$12, & that doesn't include fires or chips or drink. Yes the burgers taste good, but not $12 by themselves good. The fries are sold separately & cost $3.99. Then $2 for the drink. So it's roughly on average $18 a person for a burger, fries, & drink. I know how inflation, supply, & demand work, but that doesn't mean it's actually worth that price. In conclusion the food was good enough to eat here again, but only a couple of times a year. If they had better spacing & private tables & included the fries with the burger at the $12 price, then it would be worth more frequent trips. Oh, & parking is a nightmare on a Saturday around 1pm. Be ready to walk a good distance from the parking lot to the restaurant.

Sometimes it is necessary to leave an online review in hopes a manager or owner will see it. First I will start by saying that the job of a server is more important than they realize! By this I mean someone could be going out for their Birthday, anniversary, or meeting for the first time on a first date OR even more importantly, eating at that restaurant for the first time and we only have one time to create a first impression in the food industry! We had a terrible waitress! She was a young baby faced blond girl who basically made a disaster put of our first date enough that we left before we even ordered! Granted the place was very busy BUT that is no excuse! When she first approached our table she seemed nice enough asking us what we would like to drink! Let me just say that she couldn't even handle "topo chico with no ice, a lemmon and a straw please" without having to ask literally five times. We were lucky to get the top of Chico first and then I requested a glass I had to ask her twice before she brought the glass and then we had to ask for the lemon twice and finally we were lucky to get the straw and this took probably 15 minutes! She asked us, six times if he would like an appetizer but at that point pulling teeth to remind her that we just needed a glass could we please just finished the top of Chico order first before moving on! With that being said this is never a good sign in the beginning with any server! This went on to us pretty much being ignored only to have the bus boy next to us accidentally dump two plates of food on the booth within a foot from me! Food that people had already eaten and left behind! I understand that accidents happen and I was OK with that but we were thoroughly grossed out enough to please ask for a disinfectant spray about which was completely ignored for another 15 minutes. He should've notified our waitress in this situation should've been taken care of right away! By that point our waitress was nowhere to be found enough for us to wait another 15 minutes to get the bill so we could pay for the topo Chico we finally received!!!!!!! we had to actually track our waitress down in the kitchen and she was rather passive aggressive asking if everything was OK if we had a bad experience and I said "we didn't have an experience that's the problem!" Breast absolutely no care or remorse about that gladly took our payment for the drinks, told us to have a good night and we left! It was infuriating. Enough to where we will be calling the manager today! What is wrong with the younger generation? They are beyond infuriating! Thanks for ruining our first...

Let me start by saying, I don't give bad reviews, ever. I always tip 20% and always give everyone the benefit of the doubt "oh they're busy, oh they're short staffed" etc but tonight I wanted to leave this review in hopes of management seeing it and taking a good long look at how their business is being ran. We start by walking past a sign on the front door that reads "we're short staffed please be patient" cool, totally get it, been there and appreciate the heads up. We walk in to a chalkboard that reads "seat yourself" which we proceed to do... we wait nearly 6 minutes with MULTIPLE servers walking past us and even see two servers sitting at the front table doing what looked like side work. The restaurant was slow, maybe a few guests scattered throughout but by no means was anyone too busy to greet us. Finally we decide to go sit at the bar. Normally we enjoy sitting at the bar but sometimes we just want to be alone at a table so that was a little annoying. The bartender was nice but it felt like we didn't exist compared to the other bar guests. The food was good, the telluride burger wasn't the tastiest but still prepared well just wasn't our favorite. Me and my husband are both in the service industry and have been most of our lives, tonight we tipped 15% and it felt disgusting to do that but honestly I'm tired of just tipping 20% because "it's the right thing to do". Management should really work on training their staff to give equal service and make sure the servers are attentive enough to notice when a guest walks in and sits at a table. It's unfortunate when you don't receive good service, having to ask for simple things like napkins when your food arrives or refills is off putting. Feeling like a nuisance to your server or bartender is one of the most uncomfortable feelings.

We enjoyed the Ambiance and the location was great, good pricing on food but were just disappointed by the service of the entire restaurant. And no we didn't mention anything to management while there because something like being approached or receiving good service should be general things provided when going out to eat.

I would have left one star but the food was good so I'm leaving two stars. Although honestly I feel like I would've had a better experience if I ordered from a counter and did all the...

I am plant based so I was thrilled to see that they had a few vegan options aside from a salad. I chose the Turkey Burger set up and swapped out the patty for the impossible patty and GF bun. Our server took my order and I made it clear that I was plant based and GF and that no dairy was requested. When I asked about the ingredients of raspberry Boursin I was told it was a raspberry compote and it was just a tiny spoonful. I also found it odd that the vegan patty burger had a not vegan friendly green goddess dressing but I digress. Our food came out and they had switched the buns so back to the kitchen they went where they just switched the buns instead of remaking the food. My burger was supposed to have sprouts and and beefsteak tomato non of which were present. Then as I bit into my burger I could taste raspberry jam and it added a nice touch to the grilled burger. It wasn’t until I started to eat the second half of my burger that I bit into a soft white cheese that was mixed in with the raspberry. I immediately started to sweat. Scraped the remainder of the Boursin off and tried to continue to eat my meal. Our server came over and said just an FYI the Boursin is a cheese base. She looked at me with this blank stare. Not at all concerned that her negligence just created a problem for me and my health. Didn’t offer an apology…nothing. From then on she was less than cordial. I paid the tab and tipped her 20%, because I was once a server too and will never not tip less than 20%, but her service and less attention to detail was not acceptable. Later that night, as my body began to digest the cheese, stomach cramps came on. Disappointed to say the least. Please educate your servers on the menu ingredients. Especially if you openly offer Vegan options and possibly create a new or remove the green goddess sauce from the vegan burger if...
