If I could give negative stars....
This was my FIRST time ever in your establishment. We went here because my 10 year old wanted Wild Rice Soup. And it was an utter mistake!
I was given completely avoidable food poison after myself, and my protective 8 year old daughter gave CLEAR direction and understanding of food allergy to the waitress. When I got the food, and ate 2 bites of my burger, I asked the waitress in passing "Why does this burger 'taste' funny", she did not respond, she just took my plate and said she would tell "them" (never telling us who "them" was...)
After the complaint, and as sickness was settling in, not only did the waitress never return, but The manager on duty did absolutely 'nothing' to check in on me, and the waitress seemed to avoid me as i tried to figure out WHAT happened to me? Where in turn, I myself literally had to go looking for the management to figure out WHAT happened to me to get resolve, again, having to deal with the issue myself while dealing with the issue of the sickness of FOOD POISONING setting in.
When I asked the manager if they cooked my food with the food I said i was allergic too, she checked with the "line cook manager" and said these exact words to me: "They DO NOT KNOW WHETHER THEY DID OR DID NOT, BUT IF I DID NOT SPECIFICALLY ASK" 😲😲😲 i told her to her face that I explained thoroughly to the waitress that I WAS ALLERGIC, WHAT MORE CAN ONE SAY!?! ... i explained to the manager that i could FEEEEL the onsets of the reaction! Then the manager tried to push it off on me as if 'I' did something wrong? When i CLEARLY explained to the waitress that the food i am allergic to could 'NOT' come in contact with the meal i ordered!!!
Not exaggerating, i have spent nearly $1m in restaurants in my 42 years alive, and This has NEVER EVER EVER EVER been a problem in ANY restaurant EVER before, EVER!!!
In addition, after initially making the complaint, the waitress completely avoided our children and our needs, giving us absolutely ANY service there afterward (refills; checking in on us; seeing if I was doing okay; NOTHING, as a matter of fact we NEVER received 1 refill on any of our waters the ENTIRE time there!).
After going and finding the manager myself, '''THEN''' the waitress came and gave us the bill, and after getting the bill, There were CONSTANT issues with our check, as i was trying to hurry out from sickness settling in, charging for things that were not supposed to be charged (fries come WITH the children'swild rice soup, and charged it as a "side dish"). And as i couldn't hold the sickness, i rushed out to vomit from the poisoning, in turn my fiance quick took care of the check and rushed out to check on me. In turn, the staff threw my finances food away (that we paid for) when she helped me out to the car 😲 😠 😡. After getting me settled at in the car, she went back in to get our take home boxes, and the staff threw all the take home boxes away of $50 something dollars worth of food!!!! The waitress pretty much told my fiance "oh well"!!??!!
HOW UNPROFESSIONAL CAN YOU GET!!!!???
Now I have to try to write (talk to text) this descriptive letter before trying to get the "sickness spells" to settle.
I am looking to speak with higher management for resolve before I take further actions...
I was treated as if 'I' was the problem!!! And outside of the "extra Oreo cookie" for my daughter, we were wronged over and over again! This is NOT acceptable in any way, shape, or form!!! And the staff (waitress and management on duty) gave me and my family the WORST service i have 'ever' received.
BTW, the establishment was utterly DISGUSTING!!!! Popcorn on the floor EVERYWHERE!!! Bathrooms in HORRIBLE condition!!!
The Ambiance was amazing! The overall retro feel to the space was put together so very well! If managed by the right staff, this would be a GREAT...
Read moreUpdate 5/4/24- Upon arriving we asked for a table not a booth & was sat at a booth. We hate the booths because they're hard to get in/out of with the round edges & our bad backs. Next, it took 24min to get water & and see a waitress. It took another 20 min to place our order. We did order 1/2 order of beef nachos & got chicken nachos instead. Waitress didn't care or offer to switch it to beef. While waiting on our food, people in our section were looking for the waitress to get napkins, silverware. They finally gave up & grabbed off a table that people just left. The same group was ready for their check, they got it & was upset that their checks were all wrong. Waitress had to fix their check. Another couple that had been there before us was still waiting on their food which finally came when we were leaving(at this point we had been there well over an hour). I ordered a sandwich & it was absolutely horrible & manager took it off our bill. My bf was so irritated with the service that he didn't order anything & just wanted to go. What's the worst part is that I used a gift certificate I had gotten from the 1st time we had ate there & still have money left on it. At least we tried again, but we'll never go back. Absolutely horrible service & long wait. I do not recommend this restaurant.
When we got there, there was a family in front of us waiting to be seated. We all stood there about 5 min until a lady approached to seat us. It wasn't too busy as it was about 2 pm. We had nachos, they were made with Doritos, and we didn't care for them. I had the driest mushroom & Swiss burger, barely any cheese on it with sweet potato fries. No condiments. The fries were soggy. My bf had a steak & it wasn't tender at all, nor did he like it. We didn't take anything home. Waitress was attentive. The tables were sticky, not sure if it was the material they are made of or what. It just made us feel dirty. Don't think...
Read moreHorrificly bad service experience. Let me prefice this by saying that I understand it can be annoying for restaurants to deal with items left behind by guests. Having said that, its part of the business and I am beyond disgusted with this place. My wife left her phone on our table the other night after we ate there. They closed before we noticed it was gone. When I called the next day to see if it was there, I mentioened I was sorry they had to look for it but asked if they found it. The gentleman said "uhhhhh naaa, I don't think we found it." I said, I'm really sorry sir, but can you please actually check. (Because he clearly didn't) He then said again, "uhhhh, yaaaa, I don't think we found it." I had no choice but to beleive him I guess... We do not live close but my wife then drove up there to be sure. Unfortunately, they had closed very early that day as it was Easter. Skeptical that this person still had not actually checked, my wife called the next day with my phone and pleaded with them to check (ya know, because its a $1500 phone) but got the same person on the phone. Again, "uhhhh, ya... I dont think we found it." She then provided this man with my phone # and asked that they contact me if they did find it. He promised that they would. We have now called every establishment we have visited in the last 2 days and drove all over the metro looking for this phone. Still skeptical, the next day my wife then drove up there again. She talks to the hostess, and oh... whataya know? Sure enough the phone had been sitting there the entire time. I'm sorry but as annoying as it might feel to have to deal with customer's lost phone's and credit cards etc., to literally refuse to look 2 days in a row and to lie to customers about whether or not its been A. Looked for B. Found and C. "We will call the # you provided if we find it." Na, that is unacceptable. Won't...
