Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Ross Township

I’m not the type to really leave reviews but I’m tired of coming across workers with horrible attitudes. I went up and was checked out by a younger girl and asked for a “large cup of fries” and my coworker next to me said to her “she’s an employee” to get the employee discount. This girl aggressively goes to the back and already seems annoyed and asks whoever if they give discounts. She comes back and rings me up and gives me a large sprite. I said to her, “I’m sorry I asked for a large cup of fries” in a nice way. I never came at this girl in a rude way. This girl got so annoyed and started being so aggressive with the screen on the register. She rings me up again and tells me to do whatever with the drink. I pay and my coworker asked me if I got a refund and I told her no and I didn’t mind because i didn’t want to deal with this girl’s attitude anymore. She then checks out a different customer and sounded so nice to her compared to me. So then my coworker asks the girl if I got a refund and basically tells her no. She brings someone from the back, literally yelling at this poor guy saying “she asked for a large fry and I heard large sprite because of her quiet speaking” something along those lines and kept making it seem like it was my fault. THIS GIRL GIVES ME 1 DOLLAR back to make the “difference.” I never even asked for a sprite and you give me a dollar back for YOUR mistake? If you didn’t hear what I said then ask for clarification. So I basically paid $3.36 for a drink I didn’t ask for and $2.88 for a regular fry when I asked for a large and only got $1 back from it all. The coworkers at Charleys was rude and unprofessional. They just throw your food any old kind of way, and then they give you Extremely very little bit of fries as you can see in the picture below. We also asked for a philly steak n cheese hoagie with everything on it and as you can see there wasn’t anything really but meat and the meat was very very dry I will never eat at this place again we spend also 60$ here and was unhappy with everything about the food and coworkers but I do highly recommend going to Monroeville mall if you want to get food from charleys at least they give you for what you paid for and their food has lots of flavor and not dry and they also give you a decent...

During my recent visit to this restaurant, the employees’ service was 5 stars, and the food was maybe 3 stars. The employees were very polite, and they correctly rang up my order and cooked my food. I ended up eating only a couple of bites of my teriyaki sandwich, because it did not look appetizing, and it tasted just OK. My husband did not feel like trying it, and he described it as looking “gross.” I did enjoy the taste of my cheesy fries. My husband described his Philly cheesesteak sandwich as “okay,” and he ate all of it. The total cost of the two meals including tax was $25.
