Part of chain of eateries in Western PA, WV and Eastern OH. Food is nothing special🫤🫤🫤. With a couple of colleagues visiting independently, our conclusion is MEDIOCRE TO DISMAL food.

The breakfast buffet, which seems popular, is DISMAL overall😔. Hot foods are the usual fried meats and eggs stuff. Coffee is the usual drip coffee that tasted burnt. There’s sautĆ©ed veggies that break the monotony of the meats, but they’re unseasoned.

But the MAJOR PROBLEM of the breakfast buffet is that food is served in troughs with plastic lids. There’s so much water condensation on the underside of those lids. Some troughs like the bacon, are literally flowing with water mixed with grease 😔. — The bar is UNATTENDED that there’s the unsightly intermixing of foods between troughs.

EATABLE BREAKFAST BUT NOT WORTH REPEATING.

Lunch/Dinner is equally unremarkable🫤🫤🫤.

The menu is mostly burgers and sandwiches that one could get elsewhere.

Then they have what are called ā€œsignatureā€. Most are fried, the veggie sides are boiled.

šŸ˜‘ The Nantucket Cod is baked cod that is unseasoned. It is topped with a cheesy mixture of supposedly crab/shrimp mince but they are indistinguishable. EATABLE but again not to be repeated. —- Not sure what the Nantucket is.

Then there’s a small salad bar. This probably the slightly brighter šŸ™‚ part of the whole experience. The veggies are fresh cut greens and freshly cut peppers/cucumbers. — BUT then there are the sliced mushrooms and thin strips of carrots that are from a bag!!!

Again, like the breakfast bar, the salad bar is unattended!!!

There’s 3 pots of soup. — The chowder tastes starchy like something pour from a factory-made package😔.

— The Chili is meat and beans, again tasting like factory made although eatablešŸ˜‘.

— Then there’s Chicken noodle soup that floating pieces of pasta and lacking any visible chicken… … BUT the broth is a surprisingly flavorful consommĆ©. Add a few slices of mushrooms and red onions and .. voila… it’s a delightful soup😊.

Service is okay.

The eatery is spacious and well lit.

Frankly, there are simply better chains serving these same foods. This one is well...

2nd Review - Well maybe my 1st review was wrong because the service got worse (I took rating down to 2 stars) last night. We waited 5 minutes to be seated when there was no one ahead of us. Three or four staff members walked right past us in the lobby and totally ignored us. Finally a hostess came out from the back and ask "Do you guys need seated?" 10 minutes after being seated the busgirl took our drink orders and said she would look for our waitress. The waitress came out a few minutes later and took our orders. We waited another 15 minutes and ask her for our soup. After another 10 or 15 minutes our soup showed up with our meal. Soup was hot off the salad bar, entrees were luke warm and potatoes were cold. No refills again. If you want to come here do so in the morning. The morning staff is courteous, friendly and quick AND they bring lots of refills.

1st Review - 3 stars - Food and prices are always good as is the service (usually). Our waiter must have been having an off night. Forgot some of our order and never refilled our iced teas. And then he must have gone on break because we never saw him again. We'll be back because we know this is a rare occurance. We love the ladies that serve the...

Just left their restaurant without getting food. They took our name and we waited in the lobby for a half an hour. They had alot of empty tables but we were not seated at a table. But as we were leaving I looked through the glass and seen the hostess cleaning and doing whatever while we were waiting to be seated. After my wife asked for a manager they had closed the salad bar 3 hours early. It was only 8pm and they close at 11pm but they were closing their salad bar at 8pm. I guess they still haven't adjusted to waiting on folks inside of their restaurant post pandemic. Sitting here at Applebee's for about 5 minutes and my wife is already eating soup with the quickness. Eat n park northbound restaurant would rather clean up than wait on paying customers. Closing salad bar 3 hours before closing must be routine for them because another customer came in after us and said so. She said they always close their salad bar early. Ok. I am done. Still hungry though. In store experience was terrible. We order at the drive thru alot as well. In store...

Service was prompt, and food was enjoyable. My wife's salad was delicious, and my breakfast was great, as always! Can't go wrong with their Breakfast Smile! Plus, that day there were activities for the kids, including someone in a "Smiley Cookie" costume. The kids loved it! Overall, one of the nicest Eat'N Park locations I've seen. ***NOTE*** This original review is from 2019, as is the picture. But we just ate here again this weekend, and it's just as good NOW as it was then!!

Had a rough day, and all my kid wanted was Eat n Park. Ordered online. Our "loaded" fries were plain. Pot roast sandwich and mashed potatoes were dry; no separate container of gravy. It was 8:30pm and we hadn't eaten all day, so out of desperation I tried the dry pot roast sandwich. Opened it to see a pitifully small amount of pot roast. I took a bite, and it was so ridiculously salty that it was completely inedible. Everything went in the trash where it belongs.
