Didnt take bananas out of a drink despite an allergy, irritating cashier, filled a drink that was short completely with ice instead of remaking the drink from the mistake.
I've liked their smoothies before and haven't had problems but both times we've gone more recently they've botched orders. My boyfriend is allergic to fruit and would get the Hulk (chocolate and with peanut butter and stuff) but without the bananas. The last time, they gave us a Hulk with strawberries in it, which caused him to react. (We didn't realize it or test the drink before we had left.)
This time, the cashier was really irritating and pushy and wouldn't stop asking us questions about what we want or think we like or what we usually get, for us not to feel pressured and actually read the menu for a second.
Then my boyfriend got his Hulk without bananas, and we watched for 20 minutes as they both struggled to handle a simple request. I work at Jamba Juice in a different city and when customers ask us to remove an ingredient (especially because of some kind of allergy) we usually add more of the other ingredients into the drink to make up for the lack in size, the lack of the missing ingredient. It's easy to do, just add extra of the others. However we watched the barista blend his drink four different times, just adding ice to each one to "add more." I even tried his drink after and its basically peanut butter water.
He didn't want to go back in to give them a problem about it but working as a barista myself, I think that's really awful. In a place that emphasizes making your own drink and mindful ingredients, taking out bananas for an allergy...

I have visited this location several times over the past 3 years. I always get a simple strawberry smoothie. Today I had a friend joining me so we took a moment to look at the menu. The customer service lady was annoyed in my opinion.
I asked her if they had a rewards program because no one has ever mentioned one. She says yes. I asked well how does it work. I asked her can I add the receipt later since Iām not in the program. She responded Iām not sure. I have never messed around with the app but I think you can. No knowledge in my opinion. She didnāt even thank us for our business.
While waiting we saw the sign on the door stating; if you we donāt mention the rewards program then you get a free drink. I asked the customer service lady why didnāt we get a free smoothie and she responded no very disrespectfully. She said we talked about it. I said no I asked you about it and she became argumentative. So she was offended that I asked her about something that she still failed to explain adequately.
We were embarrassed, disrespected, as well as disappointed by the experience that my friend suggested he would find us a nicer smoothie location.
She confidently said I could call her manager Monday at noon. It would have been easier to honor the policy then argue with me by yourself. I donāt argue I just take my business elsewhere. If I were alone and not getting drinks for others I would have...

There was a line of 5 people and one of the employees just dipped in the back to hide leaving a heavy set guy by himself, just going painfully slow like he was either high or had zero idea what he was doing (itās not hard, it prints the entire thing on the paper with the steps on how to make each smoothie and there should be a guide handy for reference too for measurements). I used to work at Smoothie King in another state and this would have never passed at my location, everything was unhygienic and there was no care about cross contamination or allergies. Iām allergic to mangoes and did not feel comfortable getting anything here, I could even see their blenders on the back sink were filthy. The guy making the smoothies also kept rubbing his nose and sniffling as he was making smoothies. There is no reason this place should be this filthy and everything slopped over each other, the location I worked at was 3xās busier than this one and obviously someone isnāt properly training to clean as you go.
