I recently visited this Wendy's location and had a disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. Despite the restaurant not being busy, I felt slightly rushed while placing my order. I specifically requested a Peach Minute Maid with no ice and emphasized to the drive-thru operator that I did not want Minute Maid Lemonade Peach with ice. Upon arriving at the window, I kindly reiterated my request for no ice. The staff member at the window seemed irritated but complied and handed me my drink.
However, after she instructed me to pull forward and wait for the rest of my order, I tasted the drink and realized it was not the Peach Minute Maid I had requested. I am very particular about my drink orders, and it was clear that the staff did not take my request seriously. Since the dine-in area was closed, I could not walk in to correct the mistake myself, as I have done in the past.
When the rest of my order was brought out, I informed the employee that my drink was incorrect. She insisted it was the correct one, even though it clearly wasn't. After she went back inside to swap it out, she returned with another incorrect drink—this time, it was a diet version of Peach Minute Maid.
This repeated mistake highlights a lack of attention to customer orders and suggests that the establishment could benefit from better training or more thorough checks to ensure customers receive exactly what they ask for. Not only is this frustrating for customers, but it also seems inefficient and wasteful for the company to frequently correct orders.
Overall, my experience was marred by the repeated mishandling of a simple drink order. I hope that Wendy's can improve its service to prevent such issues in the future, as consistent mistakes like these can detract significantly from the overall...
Read moreOn this particular day, I drove up to the drive thru, but because I couldn't tell if it was functioning (it appeared broken), I went inside.
Inside was a young woman and three children. The children were running all over the place. It appeared as if she had ordered for her children.
Two employees were behind the counter discussing PTO, and they looked up but never acknowledged my presence. After they finished their conversation, the young lady asked me incoherently if I was ready to order. After making sure that I understood her, I said yes. Then she asked one of the other employees to get another young lady to unlock her register. She then yelled out the young lady's name. The young lady yelled back but did not submerge until a few minutes later. She walked up to the counter to then walked away. Now, the young lady behind the register just stared at me. I then asked, "Are you ready?" Yes.
Frustrated, I just simply said number 3, please. I completed my order and left. Then I tore into my bag to eat some delicious chicken nuggets only to be let down again they were horrible. They were nothing like the nuggets I had a few days ago at a different location. I will make it my business to...
Read moreWent here with my husband and our daughter on his lunch break at 1pm today. I ordered his meal and the lady asked “anything else?” I said yes then started to order my meal and she said “hold on!” When she asked what else I wanted, I was ordering the same meal but a single combo and with a different drink. She said “so you don’t want the hi-c orange?” I said yes, but the second meal I want a single burger with a lemonade. She repeated my order back wrong and when I tried to correct it she had an attitude and blamed me for ordering incorrectly? She was pretty rude and I was on limited time so I just agreed to whatever she had on her screen. The whole order was incorrect and I didn’t get the chance to order for my 2 year old so I gave her my meal and went home and made lunch for myself. I knew the problem when I pulled to the payment window and the lady in the background who took my order was making popcorn and on her cell phone having a loud conversation. This is the only wendys I’ve ever encountered these problems, but we definitely won’t be stopping...
