Just terrible! I’ve been a faithful customer for at least 7 years, after today, I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE! Friday evening I went and bought a helium tank to blow up balloons for an event. I reached my destination, followed the directions, began blowing up balloons and not one floated to the ceiling. As a result, I had to go out and purchase balloons since the tank didn’t work. Today I went to return the helium tank as it was faulty. I had my receipt, pictures with date and time in which I blew up the balloons which was an hour after purchase, as well as the receipt from the balloons I had to go out and purchase as a result of the tank not working properly. The manager had a nasty attitude, told me I shouldn’t have opened the box, told me I probably tried to blow up the wrong type of balloons, even told me I should’ve brought the tank back that night if it didn’t work. Every excuse he had resulted in him pinning the blame on me. Mind you, he’s doing all of this while in line ringing up his own customers. This man insisted on going back and forth with me until I threatened to file a complaint with the bbb. The fact that I was at the register in front of him getting serviced and he turned around to tell me no refund while servicing a line full of people, GHETTO! The fact the he continued to turn his back on the customers at his register to get loud and talk shyt to me, TRIFLING. And then his rebuttals for his faulty product trying everything possible to not refund me, UNPROFESSIONAL. I wasted an hour of my time driving back and forth there and 15 minutes arguing with him in front of customers. SMDH After I showed my photos with time and date, my receipt for the additional balloons I had to purchase and get blow up, as well as mentioning the bbb and asking for his managers info, he finally agreed to refund my money BUT he still had smart shyt to say. My interaction with him was very unprofessional and he was most definitely trying to embarrass me in front of his white customers. He had a piss poor attitude and I will never step foot in...
Read moreI was in there last week, and Victoria (very overweight angry lil elf), who is a sales associates working the floor I guess, was completely nasty to me cuz I didn't put the Christmas pillows back on the top shelf where they were inconveniently displayed. So I set the pair down on the lowest shelf (NOT ON THE FLOOR) instead of tossing them upward cuz I couldn't adequately reach the top shelf. VICTORIA came up yanked the 2 pillows off the lower shelf and said, "this is not where the pillows belong, do better". Real nice. I spend at least 2000 bux in that store per year, I love Hobby Lobby. But after that remark and attitude, no thanks. Victoria is a disgruntled employee and is chasing a very good customer away. Probably a few since I have many friends. I took it to Management, and they apologized to no end for her behavior and said they would talk to her and that they weren't surprised, that it was the 2nd complaint for that day?? Really?? She needs to be retrained in social etiquette, or put in the back to check inventory away from the happy public. People like this can literally ruin your company, they are just miserable and they can't hide it. Poor Victoria won't make it very far in retail with that type of attitude, and these types of people need to work so they should learn how to be nice, especially to those of us who don't have to work, we just spend money, keeping these ladies actually employed. Should they be thanking us? I think so. The go to motto usually is: The customer is ALWAYS right. You don't attack the customer with your tantrums and verbal assault. Are the employees hungry and are not given proper breaks to eat, are they all just hangry?? To not know me and be that angry at me, something is not right here. Calling corporate in the morning. I hope they can resolve Victorias bad behavior, maybe more snack breaks for her. I don't know, I'm just trying to resolve this issue. After reading all the nasty reviews, it seems Hobby Lobby has an issue on their hands with these little elves. Do Better...
Read moreThis was probably the most stupid experience I have ever had in a store. I had fabric cut in the fabric department, which was against the back wall in the center of the store. I stood in line to pay for my fabric. Upon waiting I decided not to take one of the fabrics. It was cheap looking in didn't feel all that great. I get up to the register and I tell the young lady at the register I only want one of the fabrics her response was I would have to go back to the cutting counter and get another ticket. The ticket that was provided was a handwritten ticket. This was absolutely ridiculous. To have to get out of line go back to the cutting counter and find a sales associate to rewrite my ticket then go back and get in line again and do it all over again. Who came up with this? Stupid stupid stupid The ticket was handwritten. Just scratch off one of the items. It's not rocket science. I worked at Jo-Ann fabrics for 5 years. If you don't want the fabric the cashier scans the ticket and can go back and delete any unwanted item. Why does Hobby Lobby feel the need to waste people's time?
Needless to say I doubt I will be returning to this Hobby Lobby nor any other one if this is how you all...
