As a photographer, I've had the pleasure of working at Barrington Hall in Roswell on multiple occasions, and each time has been an absolute delight. This beautiful place is perfect for a wide range of photo shoots, from intimate couple portraits to large family, quinceañera, seniors and more. The lush greenery and elegant architecture make for a stunning backdrop, and there are countless locations throughout the property that provide excellent photo opportunities. The staff at Barrington Hall have always been extremely helpful and accommodating, making the process of setting up and conducting a shoot a breeze. They're always available to answer any questions or concerns and are quick to provide assistance whenever needed. One of the things I love most about this venue is the variety of areas it offers. Whether you're looking for a picturesque garden, a charming gazebo, or a grand staircase, there's something for everyone at Barrington Hall. And with each season comes new and exciting opportunities to capture beautiful moments against the changing backdrop of nature. Overall, I would highly recommend Barrington Hall to anyone in the photography industry looking for a beautiful and versatile location for their next shoot. The staff are wonderful, the scenery is breathtaking, and I always come away with stunning photos that my clients absolutely adore. Thanks Diego Diego’s Photography

My first visit to the Lavender Festival was fun. I definitely want to return next year. I heard there were hourly tastings of lavender products in years past. I assume COVID changed that ... To be honest I'm more comfortable with safety than with risking my health, so I'm thankful for protective measures. I do wish more of the vendors had lavender products to buy. I appreciate the few who went that extra mile. The grounds are beautiful. The garden was abuzz with fat bumble bees who paid no mind to the visitors. Their attention was inside the flower blooms. I didn't go inside the hall, as the grounds had everything I wanted.

Great place for pictures as the house and gardens make for lovely backdrop. Be sure you ask your photographer or that your professional photographer reserved a time there or you'll be asked to leave. Also they need a Roswell photographer permit too.

Description
Barrington Hall is an 1842 Greek Revival-style plantation home, likely built by enslaved Africans and African Americans. It was the residence of Barrington King who, along with his father Roswell King, was the founder of the town of Roswell, in northern Fulton County, Georgia. The house was designed by Willis Ball.
