600 Degrees Pizzaria and Drafthouse, formerly Slap Box pizza, is a nice eclectic joint, friendly, and vibrant atmosphere. Pete was an absolute pleasure and kept us entertained. Great draft selection, knowledgeable staff eager to help with choices and samples. Encouraged to try a cider outside my comfort zone and really enjoyed it. The food...garlic knots to start with. Large, soft, and fluffy pizza dough. Wonderful. The garlic and parm dusting were just right. The sauce is rustic, thick, and just amazing. Great start. The Pirate pie was so flavorful, with loads of fresh ingredients. The four cheese had a surprising depth of flavor, just a great pie. Vegetables on one pie were fresh and well cared for. The crust was treated with love and cooked so evenly and just a perfect feel. We will be back and look forward to the wings with our pie next trip.

I know this review is going to upset some people but I think that some people just have different tastes. That's all. And there's nothing wrong with that. So we ordered two cheese and pepperoni slices, an order of garlic knots, and an order of Parmesan fries. The garlic knots were in my opinion. Underdone as they were just light colored much like white bread. There was no crunch. There was no crust on the bottom and they really weren't flavorful at all. I found them very bland and so did my wife so we didn't even eat them. The parmesan fries were just that They were just fries with parmesan sprinkled on top. And they were served with some sort of knock-off Raising Cane's sauce is how I could best describe it. The pizza was nice and crispy which I can respect but then again there was really nothing more to it. I found the dough lacking in any flavor at all. It was just dough. The sauce I felt wasn't very flavorful. I was kind of overpowered by the flavor of garlic and I don't know if that was coming from the sauce or if that was coming from the one garlic knot that we ate. My wife cut her slice of pizza in half and only had half of that slice and left it there. So $33 later and when our waiter came over I went to pay as soon as he gave me the bill. He put it in his little handheld cash register. Registered a tip. Signed it and we got up and left. As we were leaving, one of the busboys chased us down and asked us if we were going to pay... I don't know, that kind of took me back a little bit cuz I've never been asked if I've ever dine and dived before... But I told the kid yeah and I pointed to the other guy and said did we pay or did we not pay And that other guy who was our waiter said oh yeah They paid. You can let them go. Now I know it wasn't the guys fault, I was just a little taken back. Needless to say I won't be back.

The beer selection here is outstanding. If you're looking for a place that has a variety of beers on draft this fits the bill. Ordered the garlic knots as an appetizer. Balls of pizza dough baked with a sprinkle of parmesan on top, served with marinara out of a jar. Nothing spectacular. Was wanting to get a variety of their specialty pizzas by the slice only to find out, after ordering a beer and looking at the menu, that they only serve cheese and pepperoni by the slice after 5. I arrived at 6. Went with the city pie. Your basic supreme style pizza. Was overall disappointed. The crust had a nice crunch with a chewy finish but the sauce is something any carry out restaurant would get out of a can. The "hand pinched Italian sausage" was good but the rest of the toppings were average at best. When I asked for Parmesan and crushed red peppers, I was given pre packed stuff you get with to go orders from chain restaurants. For the price point they get for their pies, shakers with quality parmesan should be standard. If you're ok paying $25. on a pizza that's on par with any other chain restaurant like Marco's or Domino's this is your place. If you want a variety of cold beer they gotcha here.

First time here, I read some decent reviews & was in the area so I decided to give it a try. Walked in with my family & stood there for a min confused as the greeter was no where to be found, After a few she ran from the back & sat us. While dining in I noticed this happened to several other people as well. (Tip: Maybe find someone who can stay up front during there whole shift.) We ordered waters that took forever to get to us, then I was offered samples of the draft beer so I could make a choice, that also took a really long time to bring over two quick samples. The restaurant wasn't too busy either as we went after a typical lunch rush 2:30-3 PM. The appetizer was really good & fresh. The pizza however was ok... wasn't the best I've had and all the toppings I paid extra for fell right off. Most places will add a little cheese to the top to secure the toppings a little better but literally all my toppings besides the pepperoni fell off. :/ The Tiramisu was ok also not the best & a bit on the dry side. I would say the best part of my meal was the Cosmic Butterfly Kettle Sour Draft Beer that I had. Other than that prob wont be back.

The reviews here are ridiculous. I don’t know why people’s standards are so low these days. Starting with the menu. This is the most confusing menu I have yet to see. One cannot interpret whether you can purchase a slice, giant slice, or a 14 inch, nor the price thereof, because only *some* of those pizzas are available in certain sizes. But WAIT, only some of those options on top of that are available before 5pm. Even the waitress (who was kind) had a hard time explaining what was going on with this horrific menu. Additionally, while the crust of the giant slices were good, they proved incredibly dry. In addition to limiting options after 5pm to save costs, any topping one adds to a slice is merely *placed* atop what appears to be a pre-prepared pizza, making the toppings disappointingly not integrated with the “pizza” at all (see photo below). Whack.

I have enjoyed coming here for a while now. It’s one of the few pizza places I feel comfortable eating at. Their gluten free pizza is great and my friends say their regular pizza is good too. I love it when the pizza comes out steamy, the veggies are fresh, and the cheese is just gooey enough. I always get friendly service here. server, Peter, was great. He was personable and funny. He was able to answer questions and he brought our food out in a timely manner. Today I ate the City Pie and the ingredient was fresh and full of flavor. The whole place is clean and you can feel the history of downtown Round Rock.
