Just MY experience~ I was at work today when the doc asked if everyone wanted to order Jimmy Johns for lunch. Everyone accepted and I attempted to go the most organized route and order online. I continued as a guest and placed the order and all it's details online. The doc was paying so I had to have him come up (EVEN AS A GUEST) and put in all kinds of information he didn't really want to enter for a simple sandwich order. When clicking the next step "Review Order" it would go no further, nor would it place our order- frustrating!!! So I had to call. The girl who answered the phone was plenty friendly. I cannot speak for everyone else's orders, but when I place the order for my #6 The Veggie, advertised online bursting with avocado spread and sprouts and a few other veggies and provo cheese (YUM)- I was told "we don't carry sprouts" (as it's advertised with), I forgot to change the bread to a 7-grain, and when I received it, it was bursting with shredded lettuce and NO avocado spread at all (or sprouts)!!! I was VERY disappointed in my sandwich. The girl taking the order even urged me to get the #13 Gourmet Veggie Club, which really wasn't much different from the 8" I originally wanted. The two most appealing things about this sandwich and why I ordered it and I received NONE of those two tasty ingredients!!! I attempted to call the shoppe, but hung up figuring there's nothing they're going to do about it anyway. The delivery was quick as usual, driver was "meh" not too friendly but not unfriendly. I think my sandwich in particular was not worth the $$. Best thing about it was all the yummy cheese and not-good-for-you white bread. Taste was good, but not what I was expecting when I saw the sandwich on their website. I guess, buyer be clear about what you're ordering (even though mine was missing something clearly supposed to be on the sandwich). **Picture after I had taken shredded lettuce...
Read moreBREEAN NEEDS FURTHER TRAINING, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. WENT INTO STORE TO ORDER AND SHE CAME TO THE REGISTER AND NOT ONCE LOOKED UP TO TAKE MY ORDER. SHE ONLY LOOKED DOWN AT THE REGISTER LIKE SHE WAS DOING SOMETHING SO I GAVE HER THE BENIFIT OF THE DOUBT THINKING SHE NEEDED TO DO SOMETHING BEFORE SHE TOOK MY ORDER. SHE THEN PRECEDED TO GET ON HER CELL PHONE AND LOOK BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN THE REGISTER, THE FLOOR AND HER PHONE. NOT ONCE DID SHE ASKED TO TAKE MY ORDER OR SAID "MAY I HELP YOU" AS I STOOD THERE WAITING. NO ONE ELSE WAS IN THE STORE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPORTANT IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE THE FOREFRONT OF THE BUSINESS AND IF YOU CAN NOT OFFER THAT AS A MINIMUM THEN YOUR BUSINESS WILL FAIL AND CREATE AN EXPERIENCE WHERE NO ONE WILL WANT TO RETURN TO YOUR STORE. EITHER SHE IS NOT HAPPY WITH WHAT SHE IS DOING OR SHE JUST LACKS CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, EITHER WAY SHE NEEDS TO BE PULLED FROM THE CUSTOMER INTERACTION UNTIL SHE IS EITHER PROPERLY TRAINED OR SHE JUST NEEDS TO SEEK...
Read moreI really like their sandwiches, the bread is really good and the sandwich contents are always fresh and tasty. The sandwiches are well wrapped, so there is never any leakage. You can customize the sandwiches to have additional items (e.g. to add or remove pickles or onions) and control the amount of items (light, medium, heavy). You can save sandwiches to your account with names (e.g. Luly's Tuna) , which is helpful, since I often buy for several people (wife, kids, their spouses) and they can tell me "my tuna" or "my italian" and I can select it from saved sandwiches with their customizations. I usually order the large sandwiches, cut in half, and get two meals out of it.
The premises are very clean and there are always open tables, although I don't use them, I always order for pick up. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I've never had a bad experience at either of the two JJ's I frequent. The sandwiches are a little expensive, but well worth the price, I highly...
