Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Sacramento

If you're in Sacramento and craving pizza, you absolutely need to check out Mountain Mike's Pizza on S Street - this is definitely one of my go-to pizza spots! Located right in the heart of Midtown, this place is super convenient and within walking distance of so many of my favorite local spots. Whether I'm grabbing a slice before heading to a nearby pub or just enjoying a chill night out with friends, it's the perfect spot.

As for the pizza... they really get it right every single time. They've got all the classic pies you'd expect - like the Everest, which is my personal favorite (loaded with meats and flavor), and of course the traditional pepperoni if you're in the mood for something simple but delicious. But no matter what you order here, it's always cooked to perfection. The crust, the sauce, the cheese... it all hits just right!

The staff here is super accommodating, which is another reason I keep coming back. Need your pizza a little well-done? No problem. Want to swap out toppings? They’ve got you. Want half of one pizza, half of another? Easy. They’ll even help you apply any coupons to save you some money! I usually grab my pizza for take-out, but the seating area is also pretty spacious and comfortable if you decide to stay in. Plus, they've got TVs playing sports, which is always a nice touch.

I had called in an order to pick up a large chicken club pizza. When I got to the store, the manager Jay, (who also took my order) handed me a mountain sized pizza and made me pay for the larger size. When I asked him to make me a large size instead, he said he was refusing service. I was very disappointed in being forced to pay for a larger size that I didn’t order. When I asked him for his supervisor or the district managers contact information, Jay said I was harassing him and that he would call the police. At this point I didnt feel safe anymore and was forced to pay for a size I didn’t order. I know I was not harassing him because I even have recorded the end of our conversation. I’m very disappointed in the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE at this store and I’m disappointed that their managers and my employees won’t accept responsibility for mistakes they make when taking my order. Further it was embarrassi having him accuse me of harassment. what a horrible manager. Please let me know if you want a copy of the video before I post it on Facebook...

Ordered a pizza gave them my address when delivering my pizza they ended up at a different address pizza driver called my phone told me that he was out front so I sent my daughter out there and he’s nowhere to be found so I called him back and ask him are you sure you have the right address he was nowhere near my address so when telling him my address again he Would cuss at me and tell me who am I yelling at. I was only trying to get him to hear the right address, he called my phone multiple times over and over again cussing me out, at that point I was done with his mouth. I told him I didn’t want the pizza anymore. When I called them to let them know there driver is being very Unprofessional calling me and telling me he knows where I live. I was still charged for the pizza I never received. I will NEVER EAT AT THIS PLACE AGAIN. They don’t even deserve a star.
