Great bar! Need to come back. The environment was welcoming . I need to taste more of their cocktails or food too. I was able to spend some time here on a a late Saturday afternoon. There wasn’t a line, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the ambiance was welcoming. The menu was extensive enough to have options for everyone. The prices were great for the value. I ordered the “Gnome” and my girlfriend had a Mezcal “mojito” variation (don’t think it was on the menu). The mezcal drink was tastier for me. The Gnome was a bit outside of my comfort zone. This is what it was made with : OLIVE OIL FAT WASHED GIN. FINO SHERRY, YELLOW CHARTREUSE. Overall . The menu was great, the spirit selection was extensive, the atmosphere was welcoming , the staff was friendly, and we liked a few of their drinks. Will be coming back to try more of the menu!

The Snug has been on my Yelp bookmark list for quite some time. However, it seemed like something would always come between my plans of making it there. Therefore, I could barely contain my excitement when I had the opportunity to join a few friends for a pre-Christmas outing. Unaware that The Snug was hosting the Miracle Pop-Up Bar, I walked in (no line at the time) at 3:45ish.

The area that my friends occupied was a snug (pun intended) corner to your immediate right when you enter the establishment. When a friendly server (unfortunately I did not obtain her name) checked in on us, I ordered my first drink…The Krampus. As we sipped on our beverages and conversed, I could hear the crowd getting increasingly louder. At one point I took a peek outside and observed that a massive line had formed, that’s when I realized that this was something special!

Prior to ordering my next drink, Mariah Carey’s classic “All I Want for Christmas” started playing. The restaurant along with my friends at the table began to enthusiastically sing along as faux snow started falling from the ceiling (reference my video if you don’t believe me)! When the server arrived, I ordered the Hot Buttered Rum drink that came with what I believe to be a stroopwafel for dipping purposes. I found both drinks to be delicious, but if I had to choose one, I would say that the Hot Buttered Rum drink took the cake!

I have to admit, prior to this event I was struggling to get into the holiday mood. However, the cozy environment, paired with tasteful Christmas decorations and music really ignited the Christmas spirit within me. I’m not sure how The Snug experience is during non-holiday times, but I can say that The Snug X The Miracle Pop-Up cocktail bar set a pretty high standard! I highly recommend that you...

Came here on a Saturday evening after high recommendations, and could see (and taste) why the recommendation was given.

Service and Staff: Order via QR code on the tables Some of the food was quick to come out (the easier foods to cook) Drinks come out very quickly also

Food and Drinks: Nitro Margarita: delicious and does the job Paloma Slushy: they mentioned the day we went was the last day for the slushies due to the weather changing Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich: ordered with tots and both were good. By no means the best fried chicken sandwich ever, but had good flavor Squash Tempura: this was really delicious - would recommend ordering this. Popcorn chicken: always a good hit, especially with the yuzu Mayo

Miscellaneous: Indoor dining and outdoor parklet dining available Typical SF availability for parking Love that you can have your own tab from the QR code if you want (makes paying the bill easier at the end)ame here on a Saturday night with no reservation with a party of 5. They sat us at table that we had to share with a different party which I didn't like but we had no other choice so it was fine.

Food 3/5: We got the buns which were really dry and the popcorn chicken which didn't really have any flavor and I don't think the yuzu Mayo went well with the chicken. The Brussels were okay and the tots were good. Overall it's not bad for bar food.

Service 2/5: We scanned the barcode and ordered so we didn't really get great service. Someone literally just brought us what we ordered and that's it. And they charge mandatory 20% tip for really doing nothing! So that's why I'm giving this place a 2...to automatically charge 20% when we sat ourselves and ordered...

I used to love the miracle pop up bar at red rabbit and went annually, so decided to give this one a try. Me and my friends waited in line for 2 hours in the cold for their miracle pop up bar. When we got to the front we did not move up for 45 minutes, we were told by another group that they don’t let any of the standby line in until EVERYONE who purchased a fast pass gets in. Obviously the line for the fast pass never ends as more and more people keep showing up so there was no hope for the people that didn’t want to spend money to go and buy drinks. I asked the bouncer if they could let even 10 groups of fast pass people to 1 group of non fast pass, he said no and they prioritize people that paid. It really shows what they value in their customers and that money is more important to them than any of our time or support to the business. I would’ve rather them had everyone pay a $10 cover so at least everyone would get in fairly. The fast pass nonsense was the worst system I’ve ever experienced. Will never return during Christmas or any other time...
