I was hopeful to find a decent reasonably priced location in town. Unfortunately that was not the case. I ordered the pad Thai chicken. The food was cooked within reason to the proper temperatures. But the flavoring was more like teriyaki with peanuts. Also we ordered the coconut curry. I don’t know why they call it Coconut because there wasn’t a hint of coconut. Also tasted as though someone Had burnt the batch of curry or cooked it in a burnt pan. An overwhelming taste of char and Curry does not sit well on the Tongue. Again the food was cooked appropriately and the vegetables were crisp and not wilted. The flavor was just extremely off putting. Also the portion of cabbage salad was a quarter of that what you might see in their photos. The dressing was flavorful and refreshing. One star Might seem a little harsh for my previous comments but we also ordered a sushi roll. Complete waste of money. Would not even attempt to finish the roll. I’ve never had a sushi roll where they didn’t even bother to peel cucumber. An overwhelming crisp and taste of raw cucumber skin permeated the whole roll. The salmon was a bit tainted and did not taste fresh. The rice was not flavored and I don’t think they even use the proper rice. The roll was assembled extremely sloppy and fell apart as soon as you touched it. I’m sorry to leave such a harsh review. I do not wish for the business to suffer. I only hope that the comments my add to an improvement. The service was pleasant and I have no complaints with The service. Definitely over priced For the quality and value of food...
Read moreFirst of all I wouldn't even rate this whatever place a star.My family and I decieded to give this place a try and we ❤ PHO soups so when I seen this instagram I hurry and told my husband let's take our girls out. Welp, we order our "PHO" soup & our daughters order there food as well. When our order came out we excited to try it out since we always get "PHO" soups when were Vegas visting family, there is not one thing that I like let's just say I wasted $44 on this horriable place along with my meals and by the looks of it nothing looks fresh veggies look mold and soups look sour & salty I didnt even touch mine, my husband said don't eat it. I felt bad he tried his before I did. The soups & daughters order were salty & too much sauce. My husband & I were very disappointed would NEVER ever come back. Worst place to get "PHO" soups and etc. They really need to do their research before cooking like this! It's ashame that they can't cook like it😠There should be a ZERO or need professional cooks that understanding what asia/vietnamese food are made with. I could of ask for my money back but they probably needed more than I did. So hopefully that can add to your so called asian place or hire a REAL chef's that's all about...
Read moreOrder: Beef lo mein with orange sauce, and beef pho.
First, the positive. Beef was tender and non-fatty. Broccoli was cooked well. Service was friendly. Place appeared clean.
Unfortunately, the rest was pretty rough. Lo mein had no flavor, and I'm nearly certain I got the basic sauce, not the orange I ordered. (If it was the orange, that's an even bigger issue.) Noodles were mushy. The pho was probably the least flavorful broth I've ever had. (Tried at least a dozen places, and if you know anything about pho, the broth is nearly everything.) Pretty sure it was just beef broth with little-to-no spices. Herbs were wilting. About half the sprouts were flimsy and translucent. (The lime wedges were fine, which is often an issue at pho restaurants.)
I was excited to try what appears to be a promising menu, but not planning to try round 2 after this experience. It didn't help that menu prices in the restaurant are higher than what is on their website. They definitely need to work on their recipes. No flavor = no go. 2 stars because I haven't tried enough of the menu to make a fully educated review and I appreciated the friendly staff. The food I had was certainly a 1...
