Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food — Restaurant in Saint George

Updated Review 6/14/23 Went to the bluff location again as my son really loves Mo Bettahs (he's 6). The service was great and the food portions were generous!! I was pleasantly surprised to be honest as I was expecting sub par food and service like my previous review had stated. I will add another star to my previous 3 star review making it a 4 star review and will continue to update as I may start coming here again as the food is really good. I am glad the management had taken the reviews seriously and made the appropriate adjustments for their customers. Thank you for listening

Old review 9 months ago: Over time the service has gone down. It's sad because the food is actually pretty good. Here are the reasons why I give Mo Bettahs a 3 star review -they still scoop up the hard rice at the bottom of the pan instead of giving you the new batch of rice. It's stupid because it's not like you're not going to notice super hard rice... -they measure how much they give you..to the last little piece of meat. Just over a year ago, they would practically fill up the container with chicken or steak. I've watched them remove the smallest piece if steak. It's so ridiculous -the workers are not organized and get too frazzled. I was there with 8 other people. I was first and was paying for everyone's meal. They had a hard time figuring out who the next 7 plates were which we were all next to each other in line. It was really idiotic. -ordered online and they missed the 12th plate ordered. I had to drive 20mins back to get them to make the 12th after some back and forth.

I typically don't post negative reviews. I like the food but service and management is terrible for BOTH locations which results...

Mo’ Bettahs – St. George: review from 04/30/2025 visit

5 stars, but I almost didn’t make it out alive!

So I roll up to Mo’ Bettahs in St. George craving that sweet island goodness. I’m ready for some Teri Chicken, you know, the kind that makes your taste buds do the hula hula and then I spot someone ordering a Pake salad.

Salad, at Mo’ Bettahs?! Might as well order soup at a gas station! I gave this guy the side-eye so hard I almost strained a retina. Who orders a salad here? A Pake salad!That’s like Helen Keller going to a Metal concert. Like why even bother?

Anyways, then the guy turns around, it’s Carl, my neighbor of all people. Of course it’s Carl. The same guy who once called the HOA because my Halloween pumpkin “looked too aggressive.”

While I’m watching Carl devour his order of leaves and berries with a fork, like a confused goat, the place gets ROBBED!

I’m not even kidding. A dude bursts in yelling, waving a bag, and demanding all the cash and extra sauce packets. I hit the floor faster than Carl’s dignity when he asked for extra dressing! Eff you Carl!

Meanwhile, Carl? He hides behind a trash can and tries to offer the robber his salad like it’s a peace offering. Bro thought his lettuce was gonna save lives!

Anyway, the staff stayed calm, the robber slipped on some spilled teriyaki sauce, and the cops handled the rest.

10/10 Teri Chicken. Would dodge bullets for that flavor again.

I went here as I was out running errands with my Mother and having never been decided to give it a try we went in and my Mother ordered a salad when she went to order the meat the first 3 she tried to order where out and so she was cornered into 1 choice with dietary needs in play. When I went to order I gave my whole order when asked only to look over and see the employee was not listening once she finally gave me her attention I asked for 1 of my 2 meats to be the Teriyaki Stake (which my Mother also ended up having to order) and the other to be Pork, as they where serving my Mother they used the last of the Stake never informing me it was gone until I asked for another meat (because they never asked) I choose the Shrimp Tempura at this point. As I was checking out the employee who had been dishing my food asked me if I would like extra sauce, I politely said no as she walked away another employee came over to ring up my order, as she handed me my order she grabbed the sauces I had just turned down and dropped them in my container. We then went and sat down my Mother ended up finding a hair in her food (no one was wearing hair nets) and after having watched them prepare the Shrimp I had no interest in eating it and set it aside, the Pork was bland and dry, the rice was flavorless and the mac salad was mediocre at very best. I will not be returning. In summary the service was terrible, as was the meal and...
