Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Saint Joseph

I’m only giving one star so it will hopefully get the attention of management. Food is good as always, but........you need to take 47 minutes worth of profits and put it towards the parking lot. The parking lot is a disgrace! Heaven forbid the folks who put money towards YOUR paycheck have a nice parking lot to drive through without the fear of damaging their vehicles or twisting an ankle stepping in one of the many holes in the dark. You should truly be ashamed of yourself. You know that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen......all it’ll take is poor lighting and a twisted ankle. Might wanna think about fixing it ASAP.......but ONLY if you care about your customers!

UPDATE: 04/15/2019.....4 months AFTER my first review! Your parking lot is still horrible! General manager emailed me after my first review and gave me an excuse of “its too cold to re-pave the parking lot potholes”! Well, we’ve had normal Spring temperatures for nearly a month now and still no repairs to the parking lot! Your PROFITS for the past 4 months have to be well over $500,000-$1,000,000..........but y’all still can’t spare $900 for your parking lot?! Prove you CARE about your customers and fix the problem! Ignore the problem if you don’t care about who contributes towards YOUR PAYCHECK!

I will not be spending another dime here until management changes, which really sucks because it's been my favorite restaurant for YEARS. But the service has been getting progressively worse. This last time was the final straw. My family and I were there 2 hours because of order mistakes by the kitchen and lack of service (waiting 25 minutes before getting our drinks and apps when there were literally only 2 other tables, having to send back 2 of our 5 orders and it taking another 40+ minutes to get our remade food and not having our waitress come by once during our wait for the food and running out of drinks and chips). Then at the end, the waitress tried to charge me $13 for the $5.99 salad I pointed to and then the manager came over and tried to bully me and argue at me into purchasing something that was literally not even an option on the menu. Then we needed our check split and it took her 25+ minutes to split it for us even though we had told her originally when we sat down how we would need it split so she could have just originally entered everything into the 2 tickets. Change the management and retrain the staff and I'll be the first one back, but after posting on my Facebook about my experience, TONS of other people have had horrible service too. It’s Just Sadness, I want to be fair, these wings are well priced and the ranch was good. No issues with service either.

The first bite of my Southwest Cajun Dry Rub wings made me feel things. I reached a level of disappointment that only a Joe Biden supporter can normally feel. I cried actual tears, my coworkers weren’t able to lift my spirits because they too were touched by sadness this day. As the tears piled up we were forced to evacuate.

We took refuge on a lonely pallet that floated our way. For the first time in moments we were hopeful, and then our curly fries drifted into view. With a desperate move I grabbed a few fries and brought them to my lips. After a quick prayer I parted my lips and discovered that on this day God wasn’t listening.

Maybe it was punishment for cheating my diet, maybe I deserved to feel nothing at that moment. Either way I was numb, my fellow workers became blank stares. Tormented by the lack of flavor and soggy curly fries. Words like Chipotle BBQ, Buffalo, and Garlic Parmesan are hollow sounds that lack meaning.
