Visited on July 4th evening. Party of 4 - waited about 30 mins for table. Everything was fine until we were seated… The chairs are wet as if just quick-wiped, we used table napkins to dry the excess water. 💦 We get some heavy pidginized-accented caribbean “waiter / busboy” ( winston) who was responsible to for the wet chairs. ⚰️ He starts loudly talking and doesn’t stop until reciting the entire menu. Then tells us what we should order, like we’re incapable of making our own choices. We ask him some questions about drinks and he seems confused, responds in short, rude answers like he doesn’t want to be bothered. 👎 I ask this guy about sodas they carry, he becomes incapable of understand plain English verbatim, he refuses to clarify what drinks are available. 👎 I tell him what entree I want and he stands there staring at me in a serious manner……. then says “sides”. My friend had to show me where the “sides” choices were. 👎 We wait 32 mins , no food. We ask him how much longer… He goes into the kitchen , wipes the grease off his face, and brings out our entrees. 👎 (He probably ate our appetizer: calamari, we never saw it). We get the check and leave which was probably the best thing about our visit. Verdict: You can take a guy, barefoot 🦶, selling coconuts 🥥 by the highway… Put him in a restaurant , and have him labor. But it will eventually be detrimental to your business. ⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️ Crabby’s would have possibly been a pleasurable experience if we had a socially intelligent waiter.

This place hit on ALL cylinders! Angela, Stacey, & Selina are FANTASTIC bar tenders! We loved the conversation, laughs, and service! They kept the drinks flowing mighty and strong and the food coupled w/ it was far from disappointing! The lobster bisque tasted perfect nothing short of FRESH! The crab cake was excellent the perfect mixture and texture and a huge serving! The grouper nuggets are THE BEST YOU WILL HAVE in the area! They were seasoned and breaded perfectly not to much breading wonderful. Enjoy the crab legs yum yum yum so easy to crack open and grab out whole pieces of crab! This place was so great we came 4x out of our 3 day trip! You can’t go wrong w/ Crabby’s they know how to have a good time! Lastly don’t forget about the lemon drop shots! Any flavor is great but blueberry & strawberry take it to the next level! Enjoy!

Tl;Dr: If Staci is your server ask to be seated elsewhere or leave Staci "with an I" as she introduced herself. Was maybe the worst server I've ever had. She'll complain to Co workers because she didn't get a big tip from the cheap skates. The food was ok, but the service was so bad I wouldn't come back. Grouper bites from Ricky T's were way better. Portions weren't the shaped we've seen in 7 days on St Pete beach. She told us our food was almost ready after waiting 25 min then we sat another 25 min waiting, it's not get fault but she lied so at that point she accepted responsibility. Drinks sat empty, asked for mayo eventually correctly decided eating the food that was warm was our best option as it never came. Saw other servers getting second round of drinks and bringing sauces to tables after the order was brought.

After all the sightseeing in St Pete Beach, we were hungry and found Crabby Bill's Seafood restaurant. It is a 2 story older building with a parking lot in the front. To get inside, you can take a set of stairs or use the very, very long uphill handicap ramp that winds around a few times. I am 76 years old and am disabled. Somehow I made it up that ramp and was inside a small lobby. My daughter was with me. We asked an employee where the elevator was and she said it wasn't working and pointed to the steep stairs that we needed to climb to get to the top where the outdoor restaurant was. I couldn't believe my eyes! Another couple then showed up and were upset there were no elevators available for his disabled wife! The husband told the employee that they were in violation of the federal regulations for handicap access. I explained I would have a very difficult and painful time trying to get up those stairs but the employee didn't care. All 4 of us were so hungry and hot (92 degrees outside) that we decided to carefully and slowly take one step at a time and hang on to the banister to pull ourselves up. See the pictures of the stairs that I posted going up and going down. We made it to the top and after resting, we were seated. This is why I gave the restaurant 3 stars instead of the 5 that I would have given. I still had to get down those stairs after our meal.

The food was great for a dive bar!! Super delicious Fish and Chips with Cole slaw, Peel n Eat Shrimp and Alaskan King Crab legs . That definitely hit the spot for us. We would definitely return if the elevator is ever fixed.

Our waitress,, Stacey, was wonderful. Attentive. Energetic. Friendly. Thank you!

The rooftop was fun sitting at, had a great view, was sunny and windy. The place was busy.

I managed to get down those stairs but did spend the next 2 days of precious vacation time in bed. Not happy about that.

Easy parking and the lot is big. If you have a disability, please call first to see if you can safely get up to the rooftop. If you can, it...

I have been coming to this Crabby Bills on ST. Pete Beach for several years when im in on vacation and have always been happy with the service & the food until this July 2025...What a let down. Every year we sit on the patio upstairs outside and get great service & great food, this year we got horrible service and the food was just okay, nothing I'd recommend someone go for and nothing I'd return for unfortunatly. Im guessing either the waitstaff quit, hasn't been hired and management leaves it to the patio bartender to wait on all the patio customers (which would be disgraceful if thats the managers plan) but thats what we experienced the other night, the bartender was 1 of 2 employees waiting on the patio customer (and it was fairly busy). We ordered our food from the bartender who came over from the bar, we got our food served from Im guessing a kitchen staff employee and after served we were never checked on to make sure orders came out correctly (they did not) until 40 mins after being served and now we're done and we need our bill. The mahi mahi sandwich was good but I had asked for a side of mayo and never received nor did bartender ever check on us after food was served by kitchen staff), the clam chowder was meh but edible and we had wanted more drinks but after 40 mins of no one coming over we decided we'd go elsewhere for more cocktails. I guess we had a goid riide coming here several times during our previous 30 day vacations over past several years but this time we came the 1 night and decided not to return again due to the poor service, sad that "Good things really do come to an end" and Crabby Bills just proved this!. And to be honest I lay the blame soley on the owners & the managers. Sad that this is no longer a place 'lll be looking forward to visiting nor going...

Crabby Bills is a no frills place for seafood. If you’re looking for a spot on the beach (especially if you’ve been out all day and ready for a beer (or margarita) and seafood this is the spot. Inside and outdoor seating.

Drinks: OG margarita & Spicy Jalapeño Margarita. Both great, and would definitely order them again.

Appetizers: Onion rings, steamed Upeel shrimp and hush puppies. Onions rings were perfectly cooked and oil was HOT , they came out fast and crispy (also $9.50 for a entire tray of onions rings is a steal), Upeel shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the hush puppies were just plain old hush puppies no crazy seasoning or stuffed with anything (honestly prob my fav part of meal lol but I love hush puppies.

Entree 1: Fried Shrimp, Fish (upgraded to Grouper & crab cake) and scallops- sides french fries and coleslaw. Shrimp wasn’t the favorite but the grouper, crab cake and scallops were great, fries okay nothing crazy and unfortunately coleslaw was too sweet for our liking. Grouper was perfectly seasoned and cooked definitely worth the upgrade.

Entree 2: Big crab duo; Sampling of snow crab and Dungeness with steamed shrimp, potatoes, corn and sausage with butter/creole sauce. Crab and shrimp cooked perfectly & worth the trip. Sausage, corn and potatoes were great with the homemade creole sauce-well seasoned and not too salty which I was nervous about and almost asked for it on the side instead of over everything. Worth the $$ and scratched the itch for seafood after a day at the beach.

Service was top notch everyone spoke to us , asked if we needed anything and kept the water topped off. Jamie & Jorge thank you for a great first time experience at...
