What a disappointment. My mom and I have wanted to eat here for a while. Our waitress was, let’s just say, not very friendly. My elderly mother has a hard time hearing, coupled with our first time here, we had no idea the special could be substituted. As I was repeating what the waitress said to my mom, the waitress said, “whatever, I’m over it.” My mom didn’t hear her, thankfully.

We waited over 45 minutes for our breakfast. Chipped beef and grits and the 2,2,2 special. As we waited, I watched the waitress on the other side of the diner serve everyone of her tables. Many seated after us. Also, during our wait, I witnessed our waitress’s bad attitude with many other patrons.

The chipped beef was so salty, it was hardly edible. We asked for toast and had to remind the waitress. The grits were good.

I can appreciate fresh food. I’m fact, I’m all about waiting to receive it. Maybe serve it with a smile. Be friendly. “Act” like you enjoy your job. You are the face of the establishment. The experience may have been different if we were met with a different attitude.

I would give no stars if available we went there waited over an hour still didn't get our food people that were there after us got their food the waitress sneezing not washing her hands. The people that were in after us a party of like 10 got their food so that's when we decided it was time to go so we told the server that we had to go and she just yelled back cancel the roast beef very tacky the place is not clean also there was another customer that came in to get it to go order from Sea dogs and she told him straight out that at least of 40 minute wait and is it worth your time so he left.She told people their was only 1 cook so I don't understand how he kept coming out standing by register .Do not go unless you like long wait ,dirty place and...

The best of the original family style diners of yesteryear. From the formica top tables/counter to the vinyl covered stools/booths its GREAT! The smell of great food meets you when you enter. It takes me back to the 60's when I was a kid. Very comfortable, so much so that you will actually relax and forget time, as I did yesterday. Totally oblivious to the traumas of the world, lol. BTW The negative comments seem to be from the "Hipsters". Truly this is a mom and pop place, you can't order in advance or online, it isn't wired for 5G network and no one of the old school crowd cares for your comments. Period!
