I was just there for a conference. A young woman named Megan opened each morning. She was handling all orders until a second employee clocks in at 7am. People who complain it is too slow: think about how many barristas are in a Starbucks in the morning to keep things going fast. So it took a little longer since Megan was handling all coffee drinks and food alone. But she was so pleasant and she remembered what I ordered the first day and recognized me every morning thereafter. And once the 2nd employee arrives, it does go faster. People need to chill out if it takes them 10 minutes in line to get their AM jolt. By the last day of the confeence I found out Megan starts there at 6 am, works a shift, then has a few hours until she goes to her evening job at Chucky Cheese. I remember those days of 2 and 3 jobs to make ends meet. So just slow down and "smell the coffee". I'm glad there was good, strong coffee available and I didn't have to pay for Hotel...

I asked the employee at the counter if they had any light roast or medium roast in the 3 air pots on the back bar. I got a look of incomprehension. She told me there was no coffee available, but she could get me a Cuban out of a machine. So, nope, I couldn’t get a brewed coffee 20 minutes before they’re supposed to close.
I believe this location used to have a different coffee chain (rhymes with car pucks) that would stay open for customers for the published hours. Brewed coffee servers are very easy to clean. I own 4 coffee cafes and I don’t tolerate closers not properly providing customers the signature product we’re supposed to be in business for, when asked, until the very last...
Read moreWas at the hotel for a conference and the young lady named Megan (who just started her job 5 days ago, according to her) is an absolute delight. She was professional, polite, friendly, personable and fast, considering she was the only one there. The coffee is Starbucks is what you would expect (I didn’t have the food so can’t vouch for that)… I hope her employer knows what a gem she is and...
