Fray's Donut House — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

Let me just sum this up real quick by saying I've never been to a Fray's donut house except one time before here and it was great so I thought of course it must be a fluke it's my first time let me go back one more time this time I got something different and oh my God for the prices it's amazing the people are so wonderful and I can tell you by far this is the best donut I've had and to me I love Krispy Kreme but today I'm going to say sorry fray's donut has got my attention 100%. If you're in the area and you can make it before 12:00 stop in and see fray don't forget to tip them because it's worth every freaking penny! By the way disregard the half eaten donut I could not wait it's so freaking amazing

Food and donuts were excellent but the customer service and human decency on 8/4 is appalling. I’ve been wanting to try Frays forever and my daughters donut birthday party was the perfect excuse. We stopped in for a taste test and lunch. She was super excited and so were we for the fun family outing. Customer service left a lot to be desired but the food made up for it. On the way out our battery died and we had to call aaa. This was near closing at 2pm in the afternoon in the over 90 degree heat. We walked back in to let them know what was going on and stepped back outside to get our drink. They immediately locked the door on us. While we wait in the heat for aaa with a small child in the middle of the summer. Who does that! Especially with Paying customers and a little kid. We could see them inside cleaning the whole time we were outside waiting. Luckily our daughter didn’t need the restroom and aaa wasn’t behind schedule. It’s appalling. I definitely will not give them our business again and will be going elsewhere for my daughters...

I've never taste their actual donuts. But my friends and I were in for the first time. My husband and I asked for suggestions and the worker was very short with us. We simply asked what was a must try and he replied in a snarky way"everything is good" which wasn't too bothersome to us because everyone has bad days and nowadays just seems like amazing customer service is diminishing. However everything was not good! Especially the donut breakfast sandwich that we all decided to try. We were all so confused as to why a donut shop would sell a donut sandwich that doesn't taste nor look like a donut. Rather it taste and look like a hamburger bun. We were so in the mood for that salty sweet taste that a "donut" sandwich should have. It was just quite misleading and disappointing.
