When we arrived there was no wait (at 7pm on a October-in-Salem Sunday ====> red flag). We were a party of 4. She immediately sat us in the middle of walkway between the bar and a row of booths. The tables were also broken. I asked if we could be sat at the booth behind us (empty, seats 4) or another table. I was told the manager said no, so they began to cram some cardboard under the broken table to try to fix it. It didn't work. Then, throughout the duration of our visit, we were all hit by passing people, either with bags or coats, yet another reason why we didn't want to sit in the middle of this walkway. Our apps and entrees all came out at once. I had crab cakes, which were mediocre. The menu is extensive, which is another flaw of theirs. At the end of the evening the booth behind us that sat 4 remained empty, as it had been since we arrived, as were others around the restaurant. The mens room was very unkept and the door was propped wide open. Anyone dining in the back of the restaurant could see right in at anyone using the urinal. Gentle reminder: YOU ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE THE 20% GRATUITY REMOVED FROM YOUR BILL. You legally do not have to pay it. They are required to remove it if you ask and then you can put your own, if any. PHOTOS: our terrible table w/ the cardboard and in the middle of a walkway VS the empty booth literally right behind us. Won't be back.

This place was disappointing. The menu looks great, location is perfect, and the seating is nice (indoor & outdoor). The service was amazing as well. However - we went there for food and it wasn't great. The lobster po'boy was $28 and when you spend that much for a sandwich, you expect it to be yummy. Unfortunately, the bread was burned so all you could taste was burnt bread and not lobster. The garlic tofu was...not garlic tofu. There was no taste of garlic at all. And the menu mentioned nothing about spice or heat. I wouldn't expect garlic tofu to be spicy unless it's specifically marked that way with a little fire or pepper symbol. Unfortunately, it was spicy. But not just spicy - it was wicked spicy. I like spice and would have been ok with a little spice in my garlic. But this was so spicy that I couldn't even eat it. Later I wondered if they just gave me the wrong thing but the actual cook brought it out and said "here's your garlic tofu," so that's that. If you try that dish, I suggest asking your server about the spice level. I will say, the tofu itself was cooked to perfection. Fried outside and light and fluffy on the inside. It was the perfect texture, which made me even sadder that I couldn't eat it. This place has a big, yummy-looking menu and a cool concept but unfortunately, I won't be eating here again. It was a big waste of money.

Went with a group nov 10th because we were determined to find crab legs and this seemed to be the only place that had them. They seemed short staffed- there was a wait and our booth was still dirty when we got sat. We had to wipe crumbs and mystery liquid off our seats and table. We ordered crab legs, and they arrived cold. Some clusters were slightly warm but over half of our food was straight up cold- technically room temp because the restaurant was a little chilly. However, the garlic butter was delicious and we were so hungry that we just ate it- our server seemed overwhelmed and should have had more help from her coworkers. She didn’t check on us at all until we were almost done. I think she had 4 other booths of people to deal with. I’ve literally never gotten cold food from a restaurant before this. It was a shocking experience for the price we paid for our food, but at least it gave us something to laugh about.

Came here in late October with a friend, was the only regret of the trip. I ordered a bowl of ramen, we shared spicy beef wontons, and my friend ordered a chicken Caesar salad, and broccoli beef. My ramen had very tender meat, but the soup was a very weak mushroom soup that made all the ingredients suffer. The "spicy" beef wontons were 2 dollars more than the regular for the small squirt of sriracha that was mostly on one, the meat inside had enough salt, but that was the only positive, it was very bland otherwise. Pretty sure it was microwaved, the wraps were very soft and doughy. The salad my friend ordered looked like it was all iceberg lettuce with chicken tenders that were somehow unappealing and I didn't see any Caesar dressing, the bottom of the bowl had a standing pool of thin liquid. My friend had me try the broccoli beef she ordered, the meat was yet again wonderfully tender, but the sauce was very weak and the broccoli was well underdone. Food also came out worrisomely fast. I don't think it was two whole minutes and everything but the salad was out, yes, the salad took longer than the rest of the food. To top it all off a 20% automatic gratuity was added to already overpriced food, no salt or pepper on table, just ketchup, our tiny plastic cups of water never saw a refill because we never got a table-touch from our server, and a (manager?) different person dropped off the food and made a rude remark to my friend about how it was a lot of food for a lady.

TLDR: I've got my first ever bad restaurant story, severely sub-par food, 20% auto-gratuity, overpriced to boot, inattentive server, only ketchup at table (no...

Let me start by saying that this ambience is perfect for a little town that doesn’t have a lot of Asian fusion restaurants. Now time to get into the details. On my birthday, my friends and I decided to stop at each bar on the main strip of downtown Salem. out of all the bars that we could’ve gone to we decided that from looking online this bar had the best food.

We were greatly mistaken when we got there the host was on her phone and didn’t look up for 5 minutes even though she clearly knew we were there. My friend had to interrupted her phone time to get seated.

When we finally got seated at the bar the bar tender immediately asked us for our ID’s before anyone even ordered, with us being all over the age of 21. When we ordered our drinks he was very demanding and rude with his tone “What do you want”. I said I would like an Iced Pina Colada and he responded with “Yeah as opposed to!?” with an attitude.

When we were checking out we said we would like separate checks and he said “What you guys can’t venmo each other”. What kind of bartender says that? I would be embarrassed to have him work for me. It seemed as though we was so annoyed with younger people sitting at the bar and unhappy with his job that we decided to finish our drinks at a table.

When i spoke to the manager she apologized and proceeded to go right to him in front of us and say “They said you’re being rude” This was highly unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. That was not the time or place she should have gone about that. The right way to deal with our complaint would’ve been to take him out back and talk or wait till the end...

A group of friends and I went there 2 days ago. Most restaurants are packed and there’s no seating for a long time. Well we got to this restaurant and they seated us right away which was really weird to me. There was 5 of us. We got our drinks the soda was watered down and the water had 1-2 ice cube in it. Food came out and it was cold. We were also sitting outside while there were indoor seats not being used. There was 2 seats outside with no heaters and we got sat at one with no heater. We were freezing. A guys that brought out the food yelled at my friend because he wanted blue cheese or ranch. Then 20 minutes after our food one of my friends finally got his appetizer which was cheese sticks. They were cold and hard making me believe they were sitting for a while. The chicken had no flavor and was way over priced for what we got. After we waited another 30 minutes for the check I paid with my card. The waitress was really rude and made us wait a while before giving us the check. After giving her a cash tip she demanded I write in more on my card because she thought she deserved more. I was shocked that she thought that was alright to demand a customer tip better especially after the horrible food and horrible customer service. One of my friends and I threw up that night because the food. It was honestly an overall bad experience and will not recommend this place to anyone. I work in a restaurant and this to me was highly unprofessional and rude. I’m usually a really good tipper because I know how stressful it can be but yelling at us and making us freeze while there was seats inside is...
