Very sad in a city this size they have porta potty’s outside the visitor center and it wasn’t even open. How can your visitor center not be open in the summer? We had to use porta potty’s in a city we’re visiting that really aren’t very well kept up. They are pretty trashy and I’ve been to some porta potty’s in other places that are cleaned almost daily and don’t have hand sanitizers ripped off the walls and smell much better. I don’t know enough about the visitor center to review it not having been inside. I suggest you go to rest rooms before you come into town or restaurants have rest rooms we used while there and some tourist attractions have them. Read moreThis free visitor center in Salem has maps, a nice gift shop, the best bathrooms in town, a free movie, and a pay movie about the witch accusations. It's located across the street from the parking garage at the Witch City mall and the Peabody Essex museum. They do have a public bathroom for all which is a plus....
I didn't think they had much for flyers for the local happenings.
They do have postcards tor sale but I thought the shops in the area were somewhat cheaper.
The inside had a lots for our children to play with see and do.
There are no coupons or discounts for the local area attractions at this place.
They did have one nice magazine here that you can pick up and see what the area...
