Dunkin Donuts in general (to me) is usually very good. I enjoy their food, coffee, and specialty items and usually their service at most locations is very good. However this location does not live up to that standard. My wife and I went through the drive-thru recently to get 2 ice coffees and a box of munchkins. We were asked to please wait when we pulled up to order, which was fine. They did not look that busy, but I understand that sometimes things go on behind the scenes and had no problem waiting. After several minutes (closer to 10 than just a few) the employee asked to take our order. My wife wanted to know if they still had a specialty flavor that has been advertised at most locations. They did not know whether they had the flavor but said they did not see it. Again we were not phased. However when we went to order our ice coffees in the normal flavorings of mocha and caramel, we again had to wait. This time however their was no asking to wait, just silence for several minutes. Finally the order was repeated back to us, 2 caramel ice coffees. When I let them know again that they were mocha & caramel, something we have ordered from locations up and down the east coast for years, we were again answered with silence. After several minutes the employee simply said "OK, pull to the window for your total". We had not finished ordering, and we had been there for almost 20 minutes with no one in line ahead of us and the parking lot mostly empty. Agitated with the service and the fact that I was never asked if that would complete the order (we intended to order munchkins) I decided to simply drive off. That is not something I would do often, as I feel it is rude on my part. However this is not the first time we have received this exact type of service from this particular location. It is unfortunate, as I will say after this being yet another bad experience at the Innes street location, I will not be back. Rather my wife and I went across the street the Starbucks and received much better service there. I usually don't write reviews, however I feel that it was needed in this instance rather than to just silently accept the poor service. The bad experience lead directly to us going to a competitor and being left with a much better impression of them on this particular day. If you are going to get Dunkin Donuts, I would highly recommend avoiding the poor service and often quality of the Innes...
Read moreI popped into this Dunkin location and had THE BEST âPICK ME UPâ & Iâm NOT just Talking âbout the Coffee! THIS Lovely, Sweet New Employee named Maggie helped me picked out a brand drink & new other new items Iâve never tried before- they were all AMAZING! BUT- when I sat down in the lobby I noticed a card tucked into the seat. It simply said, âYOU Are LOVED!â âNow, you Write a message & pass it along! ;)â As I was writing a monologue (obviously, I am wordy), Dunkin was slow, so I asked Maggie if she also wanted to write a message for the next unsuspecting customer. She was more than happy to oblige! Even though it was only a few moments, we had such fun, sitting there, writing those inspiring messages. I admit, I was a little jealous that she & her darling co-worker could watch the smiles, from those that would receive the âmessages in a bottleâ (if you would). And she even let me take a few snapshots! Now THAT is making a customer for life! I highly recommend this location! (I really like this location, itâs right off the highway (85) on Innes st. & Itâs a couple blocks from...
Read moreI use to go here every single morning of the work week because this Dunkin Donuts is more convienent for my commute to work. One occasion a male taking my order through the drive through was rude and rushed my order. Then, I get up to the drive thru window and he asked what I had ordered. He never once said âGood morningâ or âhow are youâ, no friendliness at all. Another occasion they are out of large coffee cups, okay fine... I got a medium. Another trip there they donât have coconut caramel flavoring so instead I got the cookie dough. THEN, they tell me they will never have coconut caramel again, they quit ordering it. What? Anyways, I would always tell them â4 and a half pumps of coconut caramel with extra creameâ it would always taste different and either too strong or not strong enough. Now I go to a different Dunkin Donuts for the past week and they have not messed up my coffee at all. They always have smiling faces at the one on Jake Alexander! They make my first stop in the morning a pleasant one! JAKE ALEXANDER DUNKIN IS WORTH THE EXTRA DRIVE. Will never be back to...
