Drift Lounge at Woodbine — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

I went here with friends to grab a drink before a concert, so I cannot speak for the food, however I did come across issues. After order a round of VERY OVERPRICED drinks, I later realized I was never given a receipt or asked to sign anything despite telling them I am closing my tab. I later then realize someone (I am assuming the bartender because I overheard a similar complaint from his coworker) added an excessively large tip. All in all it costed almost $75 for 4 average drinks. Luckily, after being persistent with no answer, the staff finally responded and refunded the tip. That process was easy, but had I not looked at my bank statement, this place would have taken my money no problem. I had a generally good experience at this bar. The atmosphere is lovely with beautiful decor, and the bartender who served me was friendly and professional. However, I was uncomfortable during my visit due to the behavior of another bartender. She (short hair and glasses) was speaking loudly, using offensive language, and made xenophobic remarks, stating that she doesn’t allow anyone to speak Spanish in her presence. Super fun spot tucked into the Granary District right off the freeway with lots of parking. Beautifully decorated with lots of cozy seating and a rooftop bar with a gorgeous view.

Amazing spicy pineapple margaritas! They also have a really great Sangria that has ginger beer in it. The Purple Plane was also super delicious and refreshing.

I love that the bar is attached to the food hall. It’s super easy to scan the barcode and order food. They even bring it out to your table for you. We tried the pizza and it was wood fired perfection. Can’t wait to come back and try some of the other vendors in the food hall have some more...
