We probably spend the most money at jamba juice during the time they offer the pumpkin smash. Well jamba has been going down hill for some time now and not just this location. Layton as well. We visit atleast once a week if not 2 to 3 times during the fall season. We would usually always order a larges but due to supply issues we have not been able to get larges. To further the problem their customer service hotline has been disconnected for some time now as I have tried for what seems like months now.
So typically you order a medium smoothie with whey protien and they put in a large cup because it causes the smoothie to swell in size. Well it seems like a lot of people have forgot this as they discard the remaining ingredients instead of giving us what we paid for.
Our most recent experience while the girls were nice and even remade my fiancé smoothie was by far the worst because we actually had to have it remade due to the lack of quality when we ordered it the first time. It seems maybe some proper training might be in order. My fiance is not a pumpkin fanatic like me so he will order pomegranate paradise most the time and when he does he will ask for whey. We ordered a small and mentioned that the excess be put in a separate cup or they put it all in a medium. Well they failed to mention they were out of some ingredients so both our smoothies were very watery so much so we asked for his smoothie to be remade at which point we learned that they we're out of ingredients as well, which wouldn't be a problem if we had been told.
I feel like if you are out of ingredients you should be upfront with what can and cannot be ordered because a regular customer can tell when their usually order has been made wrong. Prior to the pandemic they would often have a blue spurlina shortage and they would be upfront about it. That is the level of expectation I have when going to a place...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this Jamba Juice for years now, and it’s because of their bowls. My favorite bowl is the Island Pitaya-it’s the perfect combination of healthy and delicious. I often eat it as a post workout meal, or as a meal replacement, but it works well as a healthy dessert too.
The place is small and cozy, with a couple of tables and stalls. The workers are friendly, and the kitchen is open for you too see how they prepare your goodness. It’s not really a sit-in and hangout place, but more of a get in and get out place.
As for the bowls, you’ll like the Nutty Almond bowl if you like banana and almond butter, the Acai Primo bowl was a bit too sweet for me, but I highly recommend the Island Pitaya bowl. The smoothies and fresh juices are very refreshing. The Orange Carrot twist juice is a sweet blend of vitamins A and C. The Razzmatazz smoothie has this tangy-sweet kick, Mango-A-Go-Go is the closest to a mango lassi (desi mango smoothie), Caribbean Passion has this cool peachy passion fruit taste, and the Acai Super-Antioxidant has these berry seeds that you can bite-also my favorite. Their best protein shake is Cookies n Creme, the other ones tastes like bland protein powder. Also, try the Lotta Horchata Cold Brew Coffee Blends (think cinnamon frozen coffee), the La Vida Mocha just tastes like regular frozen coffee blend.
I like the Roasted Tomato, Spinach and feta sandwich, and the Spinach n Chesse breakfast wrap; but I think the one from Starbucks tastes better, and frankly I think it’s tiny for the price ($4). The Sweet Belgian Waffle was yummy, it has these crystalized sugar bites infused within-no syrup necessary. The Apple Cinnamon pretzel, wasn’t as sweet as expected, but still good with mustard.
Will continue to return for my dose of...
Read moreIt’s 2:55 MST on November 2nd and I’m having the worst day of my life. I almost died from an asthma attack last night and now my body is sore, I still am not breathing great, and I still have a ton of work to do. I decided that I needed a small pick-me-up even though I look like trash, feel like trash, and my brain isn’t working properly because of the aforementioned asthma attack. I’m dizzy and absent-minded. When I came into your store, I think the dark-haired gal with the long hair in a ponytail that helped me knew I needed help. She was incredibly kind and not at all impatient with me despite the fact that I was being difficult. I said out loud when I didn’t mean to, “Why is this so hard? I just want a smoothie that smells like the store does!” ... that’s a stupid thing to say, especially to someone who works in the service industry. But she laughed, and she was so kind, and so patient, and I don’t think she realized how much her kindness and patience really impacted me. This lady who helped me — this skinny girl, she couldn’t have been older than 20 — showed a level of intuitive empathy that I think was exceptional.
I don’t normally write huge, over-sharing reviews. I don’t really write reviews at all unless I had an exceptionally bad experience. But she was exceptionally good and she deserves recognition. She was awesome. She’s destined for...
