Ordered through Uber eats pickup,bmy boyfriend ordered on 5/26/24, 11:23 pm. He sent me to pickup this order and I went in to store to pick up under his name. One male and one female were there, both spoke Spanish. The male asked me who I was picking up for, and I said the name and that it was for Uber eats pickup. He told me he wasn't allowed to give me the food unless I gave code AND he also had to see the Uber application loaded on my phone. I thought that was really odd since this was a pickup and that I never ran into this on an Uber eats pickup order previously I walked back to my car, got my phone and called my boyfriend and explained the situation. My boyfriend said that there was no code to submit and that i didn't need one since it was pick up and not delivery.
Meanwhile, there where other people coming into to pick up orders and they had no problem picking it up. They weren't questioned or anything about their food. That seemed like a big red flag.
I had my boyfriend send me a image of the order with a confirmation number from Uber eats so I could show them proof of the order.
While I was talking to boyfriend on the phone, the male proceeded to call someone and speak Spanish to them, about the order as well as the female that was working there.
I spoke to the female about he order and what the problem was and she just smiled but didn't do anything to fix the situation and walked away.
The male employee would not give me the food even with the proof on my phone, he said it wasn't the actual Uber app and that he couldn't give me food.
I was livid and upset and told my boyfriend he had to come down and pick up the food.
I drove back to my location and he came back in the car and got his food about 1/2hour later and said that the employees were nice to him and gave him the food but he was upset because they didn't give me the food when I showed proof. He said the employees didn't know what to say or do about it and the female had apologized.
Long story short, my boyfriend suspected something fishy going on and said that we are never ordering from this location again.

Sophia is on point and is very helpful. Robert has mad me sandwiches also and does a fantastic job. I’m so glad they are 24 hours before Covid they closed at midnight or earlier it was a bummer it’s kind of nice when u can be open for customers so that they can get late night meals. So convenient that I will be coming here for years to come I won’t go to the one in my location they close way to early. This one is super chill nice and very friendly. It was excessive so I didnt eat it and figured I could just easily go after work for a refund or a gift card to get my money back. So I had a granola bar that was in my desk for lunch since I used my lunch break to pick up this sandwich. (Mind you I'm 7 months pregnant). I go in after work and show the cashier my sandwich and explain, he quickly asks for a receipt. I ordered online so all I had was the confirmation they emailed me and I showed that to him. He said it didnt list the store so he couldn't do anything and said I would have to wait until the next day to talk to the manager.
