We go to San Angelo often for medical reasons and often have lunch or dinner. I'm unable to eat a lot of different foods or spices. We go to different places and I often try to find something that my body can handle. At mexican restaurants it's usually the chicken enchiladas in cream sauce, typically mild or no heat. However, yours was very spicy. One small bite and I was done. I knew immediately that my body wouldn't be able to tolerate it. I went to the counter, spoke to Heidi and explained my many many surgeries since birth and the spicy food issues. She immediately started giving me samples of the different foods to see if any would work. We found one. She then made a recommendation menu choice. They made the change on the receipt, I got to eat with my family and all turned out great. They were very pleasant. They went above board and out of their way to make me feel as though I was very important to them. Not only did Heidi go out of her way but, she made a stressful time for us a lot less stressful. All of the staff were just as pleasant. Just a side note, I'm not a fussy person and don't care for extra attention or do I...
Read moreThe manager needs to improve the quality control here. In the past, I have enjoyed eating at Rosa’s, but today was a terrible disappointment. We used the drive-through about 5:20 p.m. Because of our age and health, we are not supposed to eat inside a restaurant yet.I ordered the expensive beef fajita plate. The amount of fajita meat was very skimpy. Some of the meat was in tiny, dry pieces. Probably they had been sitting In a warmer tray for hours. There was only a small spoonful of guacamole. (There was an adequate amount of cheese and sour cream.) Finally, they gave me no red sauce, even though I requested it at the speaker (and it was noted on the receipt), and I asked again at the window (the clerk said it was in the bag.) Because we purchased to-go, I couldn’t just take it to the front and ask for a replacement meal and get my own sauce. This is about the 3rd or 4th time Rosa’s has failed to give me sauce! I had really been looking forward to today’s meal, since we cannot eat out often since COVID hit. I am willing to try one more time. If I have another such disappointing experience, I will stop going to...
Read moreI'm a little mad at Rosa's right now so they will get this crappy review for now. Been going there for many years getting the double meat fajita fiesta platter for our family of 4. It was $80 bucks yesterday so the price has gotten out of hand on that. I wish I would've followed my gut instinct to turn and walk out when i saw the condition of the kitchen. It was easy to tell they had a under-experienced staff and the place was hideous. I'm just going to say this, I didn't receive $80 worth of food, the refried beans were weird there was so much onions, bell pepper, and jalapeño they didn't put much meat on top of it and the care free attitude of the staff yesterday was enough for me to say NO WAY JOSE. I can go somewhere and be served and waited on and leave a tip for that kind of money and from yesterday's experience the food will be better elsewhere. Bye Bye for a long time. I'll be back in about a year to see if you guys get your chit together. I'll go give the other Mexican food places my...
