Freshi Tea| Coffee and Smoothie — Restaurant in San Antonio

It really saddens me to leave this review because we have been loyal customers for over a year now. We went in today to get our usual, strawberry milk tea with coconut milk and strawberry popping. I've never had issues and when I have, it's always been fixed. Today, however, the female employee inside and the man who I believe is the owner took a very firm stance that shocked me. What we usually order is bright pink, the drinks we received today had a brown tinge and had black bits floating inside (I have pictures). Upon tasting it, it tasted like there's either chocolate or coffee inside?? When my husband brought the drinks back in after only taking a sip and explaining our issue and simply asking for it to be remade, she came up with some nonsense excuse that it was the coconut milk?? And made it clear they don't do refunds. He simply asked for them to made correctly and how they usually are. We weren't trying to get free drinks and we surely weren't being difficult. After ordering the same drinks so many times here, we're quite familiar with how they taste/look and for them to insinuate otherwise was insulting and a little ridiculous. I'm so disappointed this is how they handle customer service. I do think it's just this man and this particular employee, we've had a previous experience where I asked for just a strawberry milk (which I received plenty of times before, they just charge for milk tea but don't add the tea). But he claimed that couldn't be done. In general, he just seems to be very strict/difficult where as (most) the other employees have all been amazing/easy-going. Came in today & had the worst experience. I had car trouble and had my older kids get down to wait for their dad inside while we got a drink since it’s so hot. A ver nice gentleman named bless, greeted us and said “no worries. Take your time”, after I flustered told him that we were waiting for someone. The owner then comes over to our table and asked if we were going to order and I just said yes due to him being so rude. I go over to bless & asked him how sweet the lemonade is and the owner interrupted and says “we can make it however..how do you want it? 100 125?”….I asked for 100%. Drink was made and the ENTIRE time the owner would just keep looking over while my kids used the connect 4. Mind you, I had to keep asking them to keep their voice down cus he would just stare the whole time. My niece & nephew both also ordered drinks. Again, the service from bless was AMAZING. I will give HIM 10 stars!!! As a previous business administrator, the way you treat customers says ALOT about you & if someone will come back. I will not. Sorry for those who will miss out on Bless’ great...

BEST Vietnamese grilled pork sandwich in SA. Unlike most places, when they said “grilled”, I meant it’s really grill haha. Others places are just sautéed. You have to made sure ask them to re-baked the bread. Otherwise, it won’t be crunchy. I’m little disappointed on drinks. I had matcha frap. The matcha itself is flavorful. I can tell they use good matcha. Of course can’t compare to matcha at premium matcha maiko. Olong milk tea smells burning. Artea still have the best olong milk tea in SA, sorry freshi. I believe they’re the only boba tea in town with earl grey. But their earl grey tea was too thin out, not smell much of earl grey. And same with sweetness. Idk if they forgot to put sugar in there. Milk tea is lacking of fatty and cream flavor. tea is kinda bland. Service is nice and warmth atmosphere . Will come back just for...
