One day the chicken is great & the fries are a huge disappointment in every way you could be disappointed in fries. The next day the chicken is fair & the fries are the best fries ever. This location is consistently inconsistent. But the cole slaw is usually, meh. I suspect management is in over its head managing quality b/c this location is a high volume location (?) - it's high volume b/c of it's location. Location is the reason I go. 1 year ago it was more consistently really GOOD. This day the chicken was perfection, the fries were horrible. To the point that at least $2 should have been deducted from my bill. The bottom of the barrel fries should be saved for employees or at a minimum mixed in with an awesome fresh batch. To give a whole serving of scraps to a paying customer is just rude. People with children beware: FYI January 15, 2020 (my receipt shows 5:45 )PM a couple in a white Volkswagen sedan pulled into a parking space right at the drive thru to get it on. They walked out of the restaurant as I drove up, the woman was using the man as a jungle gym, he acted smug almost ignoring her, they got in the car, backed out to leave drove a few feet then immediately parked and the woman proceeded to pounce. The guy didn't even put the car in park, he kept his foot on the brake (not safe, considering their activity). I had no place to go as I was in the drive thru lane. He could very easily (accidentally but not really b/c obviously he should have put the car in park) have driven over the parking curb. No way of knowing if he slipped something in her drink or if they both simply have zero respect for the general public. Either way he definitely was seemingly stoic and sober & therefore could have driven further away from view of most patrons. He was short & dark (not black) she was taller than him blonde (perhaps bleached but not the fake looking bleached. She appeared more natural.), very very slender like a board wearing a blue dress, flats (of course), bare legs. He was in dark pants & a pullover jacket maybe gray with black shoulders - too heavy considering the weather. They walked right near me, I had no where to go, & I don't text and drive. I ordered the Caniac combo about 20-25 minutes before close and we just got like the worst attitude, I know it was close to closing, but if your open you shouldn't get bent out of shape if you have customers. Then, since I ordered the caniac (2 pieces more chicken than the box combo) I figured we'd need more canes sauce, when asked for more again we got really cappy attitude and a dirty look. Then on the way home, I figured I should check the order and good thing I did, there was only 4 pieces of chicken making this the box combo, NOT what I ordered... I didn't pay almost double the amount just to be ripped off. When we went back the girl came back and of course wasn't happy to see us again, and we told her we were missing 2 pieces of chicken, she said "well, you ordered the box combo." I said no I did not we ordered the caniac, she then said, "oh, well I charged you for the box combo." As if there was no problem with having an inaccurate order, then I show her the receipt that clearly says 10.99$ caniac and she just rolled her eyes! Look I have come to this canes location for a couple years now, and have never, NEVER had service like this, the worst part is I manage a hotel nearby and we recommend this location to our guests frequently, this will probably no longer be the case if this is how customers are treated. Again the cashier SAMANTHA, was terrible and needs to be either retrained or fired.

Read moreThe last couple of times I came through this location, my experience was just okay…nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out either. This time, though, was completely different thanks to the worker at the drive through I believe her name was Aileene. She took my order and immediately set the tone with her upbeat, friendly energy. From the second she came on the headset, she was clear, enthusiastic, and genuinely fun to interact with. Most of the time it feels like the workers are just trying to taking my order and get me out of the way but this time it felt like they actually cared about making sure I had a great experience. She even double-checked everything to be sure my order was right!!!!! And she did it in such a smooth and professional way that it didn’t feel rushed or routine. This is one of the first times I’ve ever decided to write a review about a fast-food stop but I just had to after this experience.
