Wendy's — Restaurant in San Antonio

Went to get some munchies at 10pm. Big mistake. I love their Cod sandwich which is only available during Lent, so I ordered. BIG MISTAKE! My food was thrown through my window by a young millennial. As I checked my order, I found no Cod sandwich meal. I had to get out of my car and knock on the window, restaurant doors are locked, and I was told "yeah, yeah". About 2 mins later, another bag comes flying through my window. I checked my sandwich, I had asked for cheese, cost: 0.50, and of course no cheese. The sandwich was not what I expected. First, it looked nothing like the picture of the Cod sandwich and it was put together sloppily. The young girl happened to lock herself out and was yelling for the night manager to let her in while I wss asking to speak with whoever was in charge. I finally speak to the night manager, Liz, and asked her if she would serve the sandwich to her morher and was told "no". She apologized and said she would make another. Well, she took the sandwich she had given me and put it back in the fryer, added cheese and gave it back. When I got home with my food and opened up the sandwich, it was overcooked and there was no semblance of fish in the overcooked fillet. Not to mention again that it did not even resemble the picture of the sqndwich or look like what I had had before, last lent. So disappointed! I went back the next morning to relay my experience with the GM, who is new. She did apologize and refunded my money, I spent 25.00. She stated she was working hard to get her store running properly. I wished her luck, but told her I was done dealing with fast foid restaurants in my area, as they all seemed to have the same problem, "the employees DO NOT take pride in their work". I came through the drive-thru and ordered something that I ordered all the time. I ordered a bacon double stack. A bacon double stack as listed on your menu is $4.39. I get it often. It's a pretty easy sandwich. Same order today. I was charged for a double stack with three extra pieces of bacon making the entire sandwich roughly $6.69 and I only got one of them despite asking for two. When I approached the manager and acknowledge that yes I got technically what I paid for but I was overcharged because the sandwich that's advertised on the board is $4.39 and I effectively paid $6.69. That is 3.39 for the double stack and an additional $3.30 for the bacon that they then put on the double stack. His response to me was well. I am the manager and the board is wrong and it's midnight and we're about to close so it's not going to get fixed today. Ultimately it lacked accountability and there wasn't even an effort to apologize for the misunderstanding. As far as I'm concerned, he represents that board and he should take himself outside with the sharpie and cross it out if it's wrong. it's just a sandwich, I'll get over it, but I won't be coming back to this venue if this is how it's going to be. It might have been his 100th sandwich to serve today but it's the only batch of food that I was going to get this evening and it came with a side of frustration and a sheer lack of consideration on your manager's part. The WORST place in San Antonio. The ONLY reason this place thrives is because of its location being that it's right in the middle of all the hospitals.

5/6/2024 8pm: two cars and myself all were asked to pull into a parking space to wait for our orders (it wasn't at all busy) . I ordered a Dave's double large and after 20 min of waiting an employee comes to tell me there was no bacon for my baconator which I never ordered . So now ive been charged more. 10 min later an employee comes out with my order but no drink. While he's fetching my drink I look at my large fries that's half full. 5 min later employee comes out to bring my drink and when I bring up the issue about my fries and being charged for a different order the employee said the rest of fries are probably at the bottom of the bag and the overcharge can be handled through the phone # on my receipt. WOW!!!! Just loooooook at the individuals working and you can see why they don't care about their job or the people they serve. Plain and simple. Just look at the individuals employed at this location. Again please look at the individuals employed at this location. These are the same dumb people that want 15$ minimum wage GTFOH!!!!!!!! The General Manager and District manager of this location are a disgrace for allowing this to happen at this location for as long as it has been.
