Poke Bar is a decent place to get poke in the San Bernardino/Loma Linda/Redlands area. It costs $9 for a small bowl with 2 scoops of protein, $11 for a medium bowl with 3 scoops, and $13 for a large bowl with 4 scoops. Their prices are around the same that you'll find at other poke places in the area. I usually get the medium bowl.
Fish quality is good, but unfortunately they don't have yellowtail which is one of my favorite. They offer kale noodles for $1 more, but they just taste like regular noodles to me. Supposedly they're healthier, but I usually get half brown rice & half spring mix anyway so my go-to option is already healthy.
Toppings and sauces are the same that you'll find at other poke places. I do like how they have fried garlic & fried onion, which I don't often see at other places.
Parking is easy because it's located in a large shopping complex.
The biggest strength this place has is their stamp card. After 10 bowl purchases, you get a free medium bowl. I actually haven't found another poke place that does this, so I literally pick Poke Bar over others just because of their stamp card. It's a very smart move...
Read moreI worked out of an office down the road, so I would eat here about 3-4 days of the week for a year and some change. The staff has always been attentive and courteous. The fish and other ingredients always tasted fresh. If I were too busy to drive there I would order Doordash. I don't recall my order every being wrong. They always got it right. I've tasted about all the drinks they have to offer, and each one has been a delight.
It's been some time since I last visited because I moved further away in 2023. Fast forward to July 2024 I recently decided to order Doordash since it's been a while, and they got my order right, and the food is still fresh (pictured provided)
It's definitely one of the best poke restaurants in the San Bernardino area for freshness and service. Hands down (and I tried a few). Thank you for your hard work, Poke...
Read moreI've been craving poke and I've been wanting to go here for a while now so I decided to make it my last meal before going on vacation. It was empty when I got there, it was around 6pm on a Monday. My to go order consisted of the medium poke with a spring mix base. My poke of choice were salmon, spicy tuna, and albacore. You can get unlimited toppings which is nice, but I stuck to the simple ones: edamame, ginger, seaweed salad, corn, imitation crab, crispy onion, and hot Cheetos. My sauces were the house and spicy mayo. It was really good and everything tasted and looked fresh. It lacked flavor though, maybe I needed more sauces or something else to take it over the top. Nonetheless I would come here again because poke and hot Cheetos are a match...
