Sam's Club has totally transformed my bulk store shopping experience, and a large part of it is attributable to their great app. While the vast array and quality of products are undoubtedly not up for debate, it's the app, particularly the 'Scan & Go' feature, that stands Sam's Club head and shoulders above other warehouse clubs. First, think about how handy the app is. The interface is clean, intuitive, and simple to navigate. Meandering through the aisles, browsing for products, and checking if there are any promotions on them is second nature. But the game-changer is 'Scan & Go.' Anyone who has ever endured the terror of attempting to unload a cart full of items at a busy checkout line understands the pain. Sam's Club's Scan & Go eliminates that entirely. As you shop, you simply scan the barcode on each item with your phone, adding it to your virtual cart. When you're finished, a quick tap on the 'checkout' button generates a QR code, which you present to an associate when you exit. That's it. This has saved me hours, especially during holiday shopping seasons. No more fighting full carts, no more boring unloading and reloading. Scan, pay, and go. The speed is amazing. It truly makes shopping a much more pleasant experience. Besides Scan & Go, the app offers a number of other useful features. You can easily check your membership information, view your past purchases, and receive notification of special offers. The digital membership card is also very convenient. Also very convenient to view in store location of products. Another benefit is the ability to create shopping lists and track spend via the app. This helps me stay organized and keep costs in check, which is crucial when dealing with bulk quantities. Furthermore, Sam's Club's focus on technology is not just applied to Member's Mark store brands but also to their curbside pickup and online ordering services, which are available through the app. This omni-channel approach provides flexibility and supports various shopping styles. Finally, Sam's Club' app shows the dedication to enhancing the customers' experience. The 'Scan & Go' feature, in particular, is one of the more intelligent innovations that would make them stand out. Combined with the features of the other features of the app, shopping at Sam's Club is an undeniable, efficient, and convenient one. It is highly advisable to anyone who loves convenience and efficiency in bulk shopping.

Update: I canceled my membership that's how frustrated I am shopping with them, if they ever decide to start restocking their items earlier then every 3 months or so I may come back. As of now I also cannot recommend Sam's. Original review: Sam's club sucks!!!! I got the good membership (the expensive one) to get the free shipping, when I first got the membership it was free shipping without a minimum that's what I agreed to get that membership for then they change it, now all of a sudden I'm having to pay for shipping too, shipping is $8 unless you spend $50, that's certainly not what I agreed to when I bought the more expensive membership. On top of that half the time they are out of what I need to order, they'll be out for both delivery & shipping & it can be a 2, 3 or 4 months before it's back in stock & it's like that every time, they're out of stock way more then in stock. To be out of stock is one thing, but to be out & not restock for many months. Sometimes eventually they may get it in for shipping except because of things that melt they really need to be delivered but for some reason they don't restock that either so I have to order elsewhere. I am so frustrated, why is it so difficult to restock everyday items, the other stores don't have restocking issues like this & da not just now it's been all year. For example I would love if they would at least restock these Gummies, they've only not been out of stock a couple times & has been months since they've had them last

Sam's Club gets worse every time I go there. On this October day, the lines were long. After more than a half hour wait in line, I placed all the smaller items on the conveyor belt and the left large boxed items in the cart. The cashier said everything but sodas cans and water have to be placed on the belt. I had placed all items in the basket with the scan label upright and visible for a quick scan. I'm sure it was an act of insolence on the cashier's part. She was definitely in a mood 🙄. I dropped in on this June Thursday morning to order cupcakes for an event nine days from now. They wouldn't take my order because it was graduation week. It is unprofessional to completely cut off any and all orders. Better preparations should have been made to accommodate this busy week. I'm updating my review to share my experience when I picked up my finally placed cupcake order. The cashier turned one of the cupcake packages over and ruined all the icing. She offered to send the cupcakes back for replacement or to have the frosting fixed. My husband agreed. The fix job was ridiculous! Then the cashier asked if my husband still wanted them and he said yes, we special ordered them for a party. Says she proceeds to charge him for these pieces of junk! I tried decorating the cupcakes, to no avail. Sam's Club doesn't have the best reputation and here's another reason why.

This 1 star review is for what happened today 4/30/2024. Register 005 and cashier #3123 @10:05 a.m treated my husband in the most offensive/ridiculous/completely rude manner. I am so upset with this. My husband and I do not have a Sam's club near where we live, but we enjoy this store so very much. We even pay for the extra plus membership even tho we do not utilize it because we live far away. My husband had my ID accidentally and went to buy 2 bottles of alcohol when he had a Dr appt near the store and figured it would be a quick easy stop before driving the 1.5 hours home. He only purchased 2 bottles of fireball and apparently the transaction popped up as "you are pre approved for a Sams club mastercard". My husband had already paid and the cashier, 45-50 hispanic female looked up and said you aren't Brigette. My husband stated yes that is my wife. She proceeded to tell my husband that he is not allowed to shop in the store and needs to leave immediately extremely rudely and demanding. Very confused yet calm, my husband took his purchase and mind you - You do not need a membership to buy wine, beer or spirits at a Sam's Club - my husband proceeded to leave the register and went to buy a hot dog. Moments later this same female went over to the table where my husband was sitting and told him to get out of the store and that he cannot be there without his membership card. He just sat there and continued to eat his hot dog and she proceeded to get security. She had this young african american man attempt to tell my husband he needed to leave. My husband told him, look - I just had surgery on my neck and you can see the stitches, I am not going to walk and eat. This young man told my husband that this is not a problem and apologized for this irate... lets call her a Karen since I only know her by cashier #3123. This was a humiliating experience for my husband whom carries the higher membership with this establishment being treated remarkably horrible. He came home and told me what happened and how 'Karen" harassed him that when I woke up for my graveyard shift - I called and spoke to the onsite current female manager. She heard this story and denied having any type of security at her facility, speculating on the fact this even happened. FIRST OF ALL, THE SECURITY THAT DID SHOW UP WAS THE ONLY KIND INTERACTION THAT MY HUSBAND HAD AT THIS TIME! KIND YOUNG MAN DRESSED IN BLACK THAT CLEARLY STATED IN YELLOW "SECURITY". Second of all - EVEN if my husband did or did not have a membership, I shall repeat myself - You do not need a membership to buy wine, beer or spirits at a Sam's Club. I would really like to know why this happened and when I make the extra 1.5 hour drive in this week - I will be asking for a refund for my Sam's club PLUS...

I really used to like going to this location but lately each time I come to this location I ask why I come here anymore. They changed the normal membership hours from 9 a.m to 10 a.m, and plus members can shop at 9 a.m. It's very annoying when you like to get your shopping done early. I came around 5 minutes before 10 o'clock and noticed people were standing at the entrance. The lady who was checking cards stated we couldn't come in until exactly 10 and gestures towards the customer service desk saying I could upgrade my membership to plus if I wanted to shop earlier. I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity. It was mere minutes from 10 and they ask me to pay to shop there, when I already pay to shop there! I refuse to pay for the plus membership, when they are the ones who changed the hours. Aside from the rude bouncers at the front entrance, this location has become more and more crowded and unpleasant to shop at. The store layout is awkward and you will find people blocking the frozen section alot. You will see families with multiple carts with 1 item in them, which probably explains why on occasion there will be no carts up front. On several occasions I've had to carry my stuff in my arms, which is probably for the best so I can leave ASAP. I used to browse the different isles for deals or new stock, but the amount of people makes navigating the store annoying, so I utilize Scan and go. If you must come here, I definitely recommend utilizing the scan and go function on their app, the check out lines are weirdly placed so people have no choice but to line up in the nearby isles and will block access to merchandise. Scan and go allows you to scan the items with your phone and pay immediately , you just show the QR code to the ladies at the exit and you are free from this crazy store This location also shares it's parking lot with In-and-Out,so on busy days you will be hard pressed to find a parking spot. This area is also congested due to the freeway on ramp, and nearby restaurants and office buildings. Park in the back of you can, people drive like crazy and will pull out and zoom around like it's a racing track. The gas is pretty cheap, about .10-.20 cents cheaper than local gas stations. The line can get bad, so come early. All in all this location has some good things but mostly bad, you will be stressed...
