Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in San Clemente

I’m giving a one star because (I have to, but also) the food was fine. But the girl who was working today, Monday, around 5pm would bring it to zero if possible. She was rude and had an attitude when just asking a simple question. As someone who was their very first time at an Auntie Anne’s I asked about some menu items and regretted that. My husband immediately heard the disrespect in the employees tone as well so we quickly paid and for out of there without getting anything else. I would probably go back, either same or different location, to actually try the food and/or drinks but hopefully the same person will not be working behind the counter or I’m turning right back out the door. For pretty much all my life, I had been raised on Wetzel's Pretzels, and so I thought they were the best soft pretzel chain out there. Then I had Auntie Anne's, and boy, I realized how wrong I was. Everything about this place usurps the Wetzel's Pretzels near me, from food quality to price. In a word: lighter. Auntie Anne's pretzels have a less dense dough, smaller sizes for their bits, they use less butter/salt/etc... altogether, it provides a taste much more like an actual pretzel (including a pleasant crunch), whereas at Wetzel's you just feel like you're stuffing yourself with dough. I hope I can come back to the area sometime so I can try out more options and see how much better they are...

The guy who took our order was just okay we got the mini hot dog pretzels and the mini regular pretzels the regular pretzels were so good but the hot dog ones were hard as a rock so when I went back to see if I can get my money back he said "no I can't at this point.." I only had one and my husband had one before taking the back sooo... ?? But I asked if I can just have another cup of the regular pretzels and he ignored me and handed me another cup of the mini hot dogs saying these ones were just made.. so why didn't he give me those ones 2 minutes ago?
