102 Scone Co is hands down the best bakery in town, owned by a warm and friendly Korean couple. An, the co-owner, is incredibly kind, chatty, and welcoming, adding to the bakery's cozy charm. The service is top-notch, and the baked goods are phenomenal.
Starting from September 2024, they introduced a delightful range of croissants. The ham & cheese croissant is my favorite, with a perfectly crispy exterior and a rich, creamy interior. The almond croissant is slightly sweet but still a great choice. The monkey bread is chocolate-filled, while the Nutella Hazelnut croissant is packed with hazelnut and has a more subtle touch of Nutella. Fridays bring the much-anticipated return of the canelé, drawing a crowd and often selling out quickly, so an early visit is a must. The Matcha Crookie is the one with matcha, white chocolate cream, croissant and cookie, which seems to be a next level desert as the ultimate creamy inside the Crookie.
They continually surprise with new offerings, like the Almond Monkey Bread, with a crunchy almond and syrup-coated exterior and chocolate inside. The fall special, Pumpkin Almond Croissant, has a unique taste with pumpkin puree layered under almond toppings. The "crookie" combines a chocolate croissant with a cookie crust, making for a delicious hybrid of cookie and croissant. The matcha Crookie is with a matcha cover and white chocolate layer inside a croissant. The Nutella Hazelnut is a brand new product with Hazelnut cover and Nutella inside, a great product for desserts lovers. Each pastry is expertly made and well worth a try!
Before September 2024: The French Butter Cookie is outstanding, and the canelĂ© is crispy on the outside with a creamy interior. The Financiers and Madeleines come in flavors like chocolate and matcha, both of which are favorites of mine, and the Cinnamon Walnut variety is also delicious. The desserts arenât overly sweet, making them perfect for savoring. My tradition is to get a box of treats on Fridays to enjoy throughout the weekend until the next...
Read moreAS OF APRIL 2025, THEY NO LONGER HAVE SCONES, They almost exclusively carry croissants. This is a huge disappointment to me. They have also doubled their prices.đ
LAST YEAR-2024...This place is a hidden gem! It's tucked away in a multi business area which includes finance, medical, deli's and more. There is Ace "pay to park" right in front of the bakery. You get a parking ticket to enter, but if you only stay a few minutes there's no charge!
The scones and pastries are fresh and delicious. They have about a dozen different types with various specialities depending on the day. The people that work here are wonderful and friendly. You are guaranteed to leave with a smile and an elevated attitude! You will find flavors that no one else has. The prices are great too. These are about the best scones...
Read moreLast time I visited here was like 3 years ago, when they had different name and their majority selling items were canele. I remember liking their monkey bread and caneles.
I visited today again and they said friday is the only day that they sell caneles. I visited at 10:50pm but sadly they were already sold out. My heart tore apart, but I still tried their new matcha crookie and steady-seller, chocolate croissant.
There should be no doubt that they do make good croissants. I could feel the rich textures and adequate amount of buttery tastes on each bite, and they had plenty amount of chocolate chips and matcha based cream inside the pastries.
Still, I do think their strongr side is canele and financier, desserts that you can easily grab on. Probably I...
