Bahia Belle Cruises — Restaurant in San Diego

We did a cruise on the bay for a Pride sponsored event. The ticket prices were reasonable. We boarded the small boat and there were only about 30 people on board! Since this was a Pride event you would think that there would be some Pride decorations or theme on board but there was nothing. Supposed to be appetizer while on board but were given 2 items when boarding. Speaking of boarding, our tickets were never checked. We just walked on the boat. There was a DJ playing but the music did not fit a Pride event and no one was dancing. The boat came back to the dock about 1 hour early. Next time if you are going to host a Pride event for the LGBTQ+ community, at least decorate and cater a bit to the crowd. The whole night was not much fun and you were stuck...

I love a good bay cruise. The idea of the boat and design were super fun. The day was a bit of a letdown though, as we spent the entire cruise waiting in a very slow line for drinks. A streamlined system where one line is for cocktails and the other for cans and wine pours would be more conducive to serving such a large amount of people. There were two employees behind the bar but only one serving. There was also another bar space on the second level that wasn’t utilized.

Had the day not been spent in line, and more seating provided on the top deck where the good views could be best enjoyed, it would have been far more of an experience I...

I'm writing this currently sitting on the top deck. We have about 90-100 people on board and they have a single bartender. The line is almost out the door to outside. Meanwhile there is a 2nd bartender standing next to him just looking around. Occasionally he picks up a cup of ranch and shakes it.

It's not his fault, I'm sure he was technically supervising or something. It's the companies fault for skimping paying a 2nd bartender. Waiting about 20 minutes for an overpriced drink is not my idea of relaxing looking at the views.

The rest of the cruise is laid back and nice. But having half the cruise waiting in line takes the fun out of...
